only Saitama's action scenes end abruptly and even in action scenes with just Saitama, the action is still fantastic and there's a nice amount of it before the one punch
unless you mean to say that Saitama vs. Genos or Saitama vs. Boros are anti-climactic or in any way weak action scenes
saying that the action in OPM is weak because Saitama is OP is like saying the comedy in OPM sucks because the show just keeps repeating the joke of Saitama killing anything in a single punch
it's just a dumb blanket statement
show her the superior ONE show, Mob Psycho 100
Oh no, sorry it came out like that. Even Saitama just dodging the shit out of people, letting these super-demons have at him, is cool as all hell. Everything about the series is cool.
I don't even know if Saitama actually controls his invincibility and super-human reflexes in the way that he dodges sword attacks and grabs the blade right in front of his eye, like "Huh?" It baffled me a bit.
started watching HxH again, first half is full of fantastic characters the ant arc has a million boring characters who are given too much screen time this is probably a unpopular opinion though
Yeah I like the CA arc but it follows the minor ants (the squid thing and the hyena guy? dont really remember) WAY too long. It's pretty boring and the interesting part doesn't start until the king is born IMO.
Oh fuck, the part in Clannad: After Story where Ushio dies broke me.
I kinda had that spoiled for me so it affected how I saw Ushio. Instead of Tomoya's second chance at a happy family life, I thought of her as the ticking time bomb of tragedy. The scene where he meets his grandmother and reconciles with his father left me pretty weepy though.
Just finished Jormungand. Aside from Koko being an absolute fuckmuppet because she doesn't seem to realize that the second she knocks air travel down the US is going to sail up the Constitution over to Africa with some good old fashioned maps and bomb her facility to shit, as well as everyone in it, effectively killing any control over Jormungand because what's her PMC of 9 really going to do against the US Army? I like that Kasper told her she was stupid and her "dream" would never come true.the ending was also really fucking lame. Such a shame that a series that seemed so interesting had such a shitty ending.
The scene where tomoyo confronts his dad, the train scene, when nagasi dies and when ushio dies all broke me.
Oh yeah, amazing soundtracks to accompany everything as well.

I just had a great idea for Berserk: Some anime studio (NOT the most recent one) should pick it up for one more adaptation, then just pull a FMA and make up their own conclusion. A decent anime director could probably come up with something so much more satisfying than whatever Miura has in mind (if he even has a plan).
That shit could be wrapped up in an OVA, even. I just don't see the manga ending well.
HxH has way too much faith in its supporting cast imo. It's really testing my ability to give a shit and keep track of its literal sea of power up giving side characters
I'd always gotten the impression that it's a matter of instinct and reflexes. He senses something coming and catches/deflects/bites it before comprehending what it even was.
nagasi
I fucking love OPM and I don't give a shit if that makes me a pleb
Speaking of OPM, I shall start watching that soon.
Is goblin slayer out yet?
Yes
Yeah, literally after posting I found it.
Just watched it.
Was pretty meh, tbh.
I'll be sticking with the manga for now.
Does anything interesting happen in Goblin Slayer? I watched the first episode and I thought it covered the concept of a dude who kills Goblins pretty thoroughly, I don't really know what to expect from the rest of the plot.
Eh kills goblins and doesn't afraid of anything, and wow he makes plans to kill more goblins, wow. Also more rape because it's s very mature, sophisticated manga. Also everybody is a massive retard except for him.
Literally the only interesting thing in goblin slayer is the twist that the entire story is just someone's DnD campaign which is revealed like half way through and is only sorta acknowledged in the recent chapters when a beholder shows up. The Year One spinoff is a much more interesting read and even has better art, imo.
wow the first ep of goblin slayer was already a flaming pile of donkey turds, can't wait to see where this edge train crashes next
Well you see, at one point he kills four goblins - at the same time! What a badass! Truly worthy of the name Goblin Slayer.
It's got its funny moments, mainly the interaction between GS, elf girl, dwarf.
It might've been a better show overall if it was a normal show but with the current party, its rare that you see dwarves and lizardmen as mcs in anime.
Weren't people excited for the Goblin Slayer anime? What happened?
Yeah, I don't get it.
i've seen excitement elsewhere, just not here in fast anime
I thought from the title that Goblin Slayer would be some goofy ass show, like the Slime reincarnation one.
Nope, goblin rape in the first episode.
