I found this song which I remember ripping off youtube for my ipod back in 2009-2012 when vocaloid was a thing. I'm surprised that this survived all these years. A harddrive clone and a fresh Windows 10 install through three computers. Sadly the original video has been deleted and I can't find another source for it, but this piece of audio has been a support for me for so long. It has made many of my nights and emotional episodes comfortable.
I don't see sharing it with all of you as piracy or disregarding the copyright holder. To me it's making sure the file is out there and not just saved on a few harddrives of someone who won't leave any noticeable mark on this life.

gridman is great because the show by itself is good, but then if you catch all the references to og gridman and ultraman, as well as trigger studios references, it makes it even better.
I still can't get over how nearly every character in the show is either visually or colour scheme-wise directly based on a Transformer, most of the primary cast being specifically Shattered Glass transformers. It would take too long to list everybody since it's almost every single character, but Akane is most easily identifiable as Megatron with a matching crack, and there's the girl who straight up has Ravage written on her outfit.
On today's episode, the four Arcadia guys are all named after currently deceased companies that manufactured Macross toys and model kits, and colour scheme wise they're all based on Jetfire, a Transformer who's original toy was a repainted VF-1.
I didn't even really believe it 'til Thundercracker and Grimlock.
Akane being Megatron with the matching crack in her glasses or the MC's shoes being Cliffjumper's car form probably should've been enough to convince you. Or the character who straight up has Ravage written on their outfit.

Actually didn't look at her design enough to notice the Ravage print. I just really looked at the color there.
I checked out the original comic for Radiant since the anime isn't so great. As it turns out the anime is wildly different, the most recent episode being 95% anime original, changing when a character was introduced, and just generally being arbitrarily different. The big flashback in the episode before it is also either moved from later in the manga where I haven't read or made up because it isn't in that part of the comic at all. Episodes one to two are the closest but also arbitrarily change a bunch of things and the execution is way better in the original, which has much better pacing and handling of most characters.
It's really odd just how different the anime is, and pretty much universally for the worse.
anyone have experience with tablets for manga (and hentais)? A couple years ago my school let me use an ipad but i just used it for hentai so it was pretty good. I don't have any tablet right now, but I've been looking at amazon fire7/8 and I'm wondering if they're any good for manga/if you guys had any recommendations for other tablets for manga. I'm not trying to spend a lot, so a balance between quality and price would be good
Yeah, the comic's a lot better. Ep 3 was moved up from later chapters, although it seems like it was from different later chapters. I've only seen 1 part of ep 3's flashback in the parts I've read so far.
The anime seems to be aiming more for a kid audience compared to the teenage audience for the comic. Taking out stuff like the bandits running around naked and brainwashed, and some of the violence, and the sparse fanservice. Adding stuff like weird visual gags for the elephant cows.
Doesn't quite explain why they're changing how the characters even meet (which I think works better in the comic), but who knows what they're doing.
At least eps 3 and 4 were decent, which I can't say about eps 1 and 2.
Zombieland Saga's quality took a pretty hard dive after it decided to go from idol show parody to regular idol show with a half-baked zombie gimmick.
I always expected slime tensei to get an adaptation, but I never expected it to be this good.
tbh it's kind of boring. I wish it'd pick up the pace a bit, so far the only characters we've seen in the OP are gobta, wolf, and slime herself(?).

Finally got around to reading the end of Girls Last Tour, and can say definitively that it is up there as one of my favorite series of all time. Just brilliant through and through, exploring both life's complexities and simplicities. I think this series, above all, has resonated with me on a level that no other work of fiction has. It's hard to explain, but I really feel as if the author is really just on nearly the exact same level as me in terms of values, understandings, and thoughts about life and the world we live in. It goes beyond praise and critique, for me, since it's so philosophically fulfilling to me on a personal level. Can't put words to it entirely.
