I’m guessing you’re an avid listener of classical?
experimental music in general, modern classical included
Went to see Powerwolf with my wife yesterday. Turned out to be one of the best concerts I've been to. The girl next to me had pretty savage body odour though...
Progressive music often goes that long, its actually pretty commonplace

If you haven't listened to Absolutego in one sitting you're not allowed to post here
absolutego is a masterpiece
If you haven't listened to the low frequency version of it, then you haven't listened to it at all
I applaud all of you who can sit through a 20+ minute song. I guess I’ve been too conditioned by 1:30 or less punk bands.

Vessel is great, gotta listen to this album now, didn't even realize it released yet
i dont think people should think it's such a task to relax into a long song. heck it's like a movie sometimes. wear some good headphones, dark room and listen to some long ass Miles Davis albums. It's ridiculously good. It's just not the same kind of musical experience as punk records that are mostly meant for live tbh. Not saying they should be but essentially it is.

Man, was that directed by the same people who did the more recent The Soft Moon videos? Great song. Been digging the dark synths lately, and I didn't even know Boy Harsher had something new on the way!
k bye
i haven't looked into it too deeply but looking at the general style i'd say so, and "face the fire" is the first ive heard from boy harsher which is definitely impressed me. gonna listen to their debut soon, also while you mention it the newest soft moon LP is a lot better than i remember even though i only gave it the one listen back when it came out earlier this year. ...in general, has anyone else had a really fucking hard time narrowing down their favorites? i feel like there's been a treasure trove of phenomenal or just really good releases this year.
Soft Moon is pretty good, if edgy. Super shoegaze-inspired post-rock
My mate, who is a damn talented musician, has posted a cover of It Runs Through Me, from Tom Misch. Give it a listen if you can! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nX2o3KxbHqA
any Limp bizkit fans in the house
Anyone remember that one track where Limp Bizkit and KoRn's lead singers came together to rap about how they want to fuck each other in the ass?

I actually do still like a few of their songs https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/235717/0fed96ee-f93e-4645-8b6b-00d7404ca397/Capture.JPG Yes, I realize the other bands in the shot and the fact that I'm using winamp make it look like a screenshot from 2002
