Looking for suggestions of Westerns and Ballads. Been recently been playing New Vegas for the billionth time and I've always loved Big Iron, and it wasn't until Breaking Bad introduced me to El Paso that I became aware of Marty Robbins by name and the fact that he had hit 2/2 for songs I loved. Been listening to Marty Robbins discography and liked quite a few, Running Gun and Master's Call are both great and warrant mention if you want to check them out. A little more obscure though after digging through Youtube comments, I really like Sundown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rYBPJBtph8 Got any more for me peoples? I also am pretty familiar with Johnny Cash's works and love Don't Take Your Guns To Town and he even has a cover of Big Iron that I didn't know about until a little while ago.
While i do like the song, the music is great, the lyrics are more or less what i didnt like about most tracks on their last album except its gone even more like a tantrum. Like sleep in the heat, i liked the song but the lyrics sorta ruin it because it just comes of as a tantrum rather than confessional. Id expect their lyric writingto mature by their third album but it sounds like they are going 2 steps back with each one instead.
New Xiu Xiu???

video not available in my country, are you fucking kidding they are an australian band
If he released an album of this concert I'd bust Yasiin Bey/Mos Def is easily one of my favourite rappers of all time, and the Kanye beats he used in this concert were somehow all among my favourites Also a dude on /r/hiphopheads posted a much longer vid(still really short) of the concert since he was there in person

ooh, madd! i'm not extremely familiar with her but i did listen to her latest album from last year, one more hour. i expected a lot of rock'n'roll influenced stuff (like the song posted below) but there was a decent bit more variety than i was expecting and it was an interesting listen even if i wish she would've let loose more. she's clearly passionate and it's a little odd to me how she doesn't have a bit more recognition. i think the album's worth a listen if you're interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOxu-YmAoXI
Oh right! I was gonna listen to that album at work after I discovered that new song but ran out of time and forgot. Will have to check it out next week. I dig what I'm hearing so far
