speaking of death grips even a few months later year of the snitch still blows my mind
Saw them in Manchester just, holy fucking shit, beware then black paint. That's how you open a show
the show absolutely slew me
Fuck it was awesome lol. They even played the first track from steroids, warping and 80808 which blew my mind. 80808 sounded incredible live

I have a part of a song stuck in my head and I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. All I can remember is it's from the 80s and the chorus is "why do I care" repeated a few times. Anybody have any idea what it is?
im late on this but the new foxing album is insane. i was NOT expecting this after something like dealer

Been listening through MF DOOM's discography over the past few weeks. I think I like Vaudeville Villain more than Madvillainy and Operation Doomsday which I didn't think was possible.
I'm excited for Mm..Food soon.

For the month of September I'm challenging myself not to listen to any new music. May not sound like much but my entire listening habits have been centered around exploration for many years now. As a result I've kinda ended up with a super vast knowledge of music that is pretty shallow in terms of familiarity (outside of classical). Time to manage and curate all those saved albums on Spotify!
This new Mountain Goats EP is amazing.

Why Should I Worry by Billy Joel?
No, that's not it. It's a new wave song and kind of apathetic sounding.
I'm trying to remember a song as well. All I can remember is the tune of one part though. Here's a recording of me trying to hum it.

God damn they just keep upping themselves, this is incredible
I can't wait till October, I want The Kicking Mule already ;_;
it actually leaked iirc.
also where would you recommend i start w/ street sects
Rat Jacket. Their first album, End Position, is really abrasive and I've only started to appreciate it more after Rat Jacket.
They have a ton of collab work with other groups and small EPs/singles too, but other than that their only two full albums are End Position and this new one
They're from Florida/Texas, no duh there is a US tour
Also:
11.07 — Gainesville, FL @ Loosey's
11.08 — Jacksonville, FL @ Nighthawks
11.09 — St. Petersburg, FL @ Fubar

Already pre-ordered the vinyl, I get to listen to leaks, and goddamn I am impressed by the new Street Sects. What a fucking evolution in sound, holy shit. Thanks for the heads up @Ashtiel
Probably my favorite album so far this year, though I wish it was longer as ~33 minutes is quite short. Speaking of which, this has been a year full of short, great albums hasn't it? Kanye, NIN, and several other artists have been sticking to this format and its worked out wonderfully imho.

new aphex ep is out and it's pretty good
New Failure (really small) EP is out, it has some really good tracks on it. I wonder what the full picture of the four EPs this year will be like and if they'll be re-released as a full album when the fourth one comes out.
So far its: In The Future, Your Body Will Be, and The Furthest Thing. Here's my favorite track off the new one:

Really dark, loving it quite a bit.
