it's a meme in the community (you can even find animated fake scenes of fake characters like El Hermano and Gohan Blanco) so it's not unlikely for someone who's both a dragonball fan and a redlettermedia fan

HACK THE PLANET
That has to be one of the most 90's movie ever made.
I unironically love Hackers.
Can I just say how flawlessly Mac fitted in with this re:view. I want him to be a permanent part already.
Fucking K-Pax. I thought everyone had forgotten about that one https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QANvc2e7_Nc
wtf i love macaulay culkin now? Also there is news articles now Macaulay Culkin
He seems like an enjoyable dude to hang with. Hope they have him from time to time. Maybe for a Wheel.
Macaulay Culkin should definitely become a recurring guest. He was really good.
I'm amazed I know about this one. Caught the very end of it on tv at one point, and had no idea what the fuck it was about.

The haunting of hill house is fantastic
I think a bunch of stuff could have benefited from being single season shows, specifically Stranger Things.
Season 2 felt like it was on-track to be "more of what you like, but a bit better" up until that godawful inconsequential backdoor spinoff pilot episode. Then all the characters turned into blithering retards and it completely shit the bed. Fucking really Samwise you literally FORGOT the fucking gun are you goddamn taking me for a jape right now?

https://youtu.be/EkzWKfLseuA https://youtu.be/EkzWKfLseuA Apparently Mr. Wiggles eventually became like a huge time hip-hop dancer. Guess the "Mr Wiggles Training Video" was during his awkward years. Causes he's actually legit.
I wonder if the fuckups on ghost-hunting shows result in a big viewer dropoff? Like, do the bulk of their fanbases watch those shows because they genuinely believe it's all 100% real and 0% staged, or are lots of the viewers ironic watchers who love the fuckups even more than the normal programming?
If someone's dumb enough to believe in ghosts to begin with, evidence to the contrary isn't going to disway them.
As someone who lives with two people who are convinced ghosts are real you have no idea how right you are. Any criticism of the show or pointing out of logical alternatives is taken as a personal attack.
you callin Mike dumb
Well he did like Jurassic World...
That's actually really impressive, happy for Mr. Wiggles. Hes on tour in China right now, that's fucking nuts. I kind of hope RLM finds this out. Dudes around 53 and hes still out there killing it living his dream.
What even happened in S2 of Stranger Things? I don't remember All I know is that I went into S1 having no fucking clue where it was gonna go, yes, even with the knowledge it was going to follow some 80s tropes. I still didn't know what the monster's nature was, who were the players, what decisions were going to be taken by these fairly grounded, relatable characters. The kids acted like real kids! It wasn't Chris Hemsworth in a propeller hat like you get in some movies. If it were up to me, Stranger Things would jump around from town to town. Maybe it's the next town over, and a good chunk of the old cast shows up (that's more marketable) but, personally, I'd have it be a place far away, and the only one you see is Hopper or Jonathan doing a little soul-searching around the country, at most. None of this more-of-the-same shit we got. Think of the possibilities, we could've had a season inspired by slasher flicks, or one with time travel. Keep it upside-down related if you really have to, but geez, haven't we already told everything we needed to about this place?
You can see Fargo as a good example of that. Essentially same skeleton of a plot and events (happens mostly in minnesota, a murder happens, protagonist cop tries to make sense of what is going on, unlucky everymen get tangled up in plot between lone wolves and crime syndicates), yet each season is done much more differently, has different aesthetic, time periods, and characters. Fargo manages to stay interesting because you don't see similarities as much due to variables constantly changing, like characters and setting, and all stories are structured like self-contained with defined endings.
That might work better if only because the story would have been better by nature of being totally new. With the novelty of S1 worn off 2 had to work harder to be interesting and it was super patchy.
Can't believe I'd ever be saying this but kudos to McWiggies. The contrast between this and the King Tut Style video is amazing, he's grown so much.
