What if RLM had a show on Pornhub where they review porno?
It'd be great if Pirates showed up on BOTW.

The porno so good they cut out all the hardcore sex scenes and released a rated R version.
We need another Simon Barrett episode with this.

You are joking, but I've been thinking that it is only a matter of time before we see RLM-like porn shows that are mostly people talking naked in bed followed by some occasional intercourse.
Shows like RLM are popular because to extent they replace the feeling of having friends. With some many single and lonely people, shows aiming for replacing the feeling of having a partner are only a matter of time.
you're implying that that doesn't already exist, somewhere
isnt that just game of thrones?
ive never seen a net flicks im sorry
Who the fuck in your life would Rich Evans even replace?
There is a guy at my work who has a huge loud laugh exactly like Rich Evans'. I've been to movies with him before and you can feel the whole theater collectively wishing he'd stop finding things funny.
Random question: Who's you guys' favorite panel setup?
I'm a big fan of Mike/Rich/Josh/Jay. Partially 3 of those people are responsible for one of my all-time favorite moments and the 4th person's propensity for weird crap always adds nice tidbits to episodes.
Replace Josh with Jack and this is mine. Maybe I just like him better for being part of the PreRec crew with Rich but I think he's got a really nice perspective and personality that plays off everyone well.
My favorite panel setup is Jack/Josh/Jay feat. Rich.
I just really liked the Dangerous Men, Ryan's Babe, ROTOR, and Chopping Mall episodes.

Okay, y'all remember Top Slots - Spotting The Best, right? That glorious bit of comedy that had the misfortune of going up against Surviving Edged Weapons? I hope the guys can get a hold of his other video, Win More At Video Poker. It sounds possibly even stupider than Top Slots.
Instead of using an RNG function, the presenter claims that a video poker machine has a chip with 150,000 "zits" on it. Each one of these zits represents a set of 10 cards. There is a laser flashlight that is constantly "wigglin'-and-a-squigglin'" over the chip. When you start a hand, the zit that the laser is pointing to determines the 10 cards that will be used for this hand.

Been binging some old PreRec lately, and this moment from Inside kills me every time. One of Rich's best laugh reactions.

Timestamp doesn't seem to work on the embeded player unfortunately. Couldn't even tell what it was until I quoted your post.
Works in my browser though, but okay: it's at 1:28:32.
I miss Pre-Rec.
I didn't know they stopped? Did they just get bored of it, or did something happen?
They got into a dead end with PreRec, channel/project wasn't growing and a lot of other reasons:
- People were asking about RLM stuff (while Rich and Jack wanted it to be it's own thing);
- Reviews were not popular and feedback was toxic;
- A lot of people expected different interaction from Rich;
Both Rich and Jack started getting bored of all that stuff, so they ended PreRec.
I probably watched close to a dozen pre-rec episodes, never tuned in for the streams or anything. It had pretty good production value, since they obviously have access to higher-end A/V equipment and stuff, but reviewers that I regularly watch are people who excel in at least one particular trait, like humor or insight or analytical depth or succinct evaluations or comprehensiveness, and I never felt like Pre-Rec had any really excellent trait like that. There was some humor, but not as much as other RLM shows.
Plus, I would occasionally hear some baffling opinions from them, like Rich saying he would never recommend any multiplayer-only game. Bizarre things like that.
I think it could have been better if they had stuck more to showcasing genres and specific games they're really passionate about, but many of the episodes I saw started with one or both of them trying a game for the first time and coming out with a lukewarm reaction to it that doesn't give me much more value than a few-minutes glance through some Steam user reviews.
That doesn't really come across as that bizarre or baffling. There are a lot of people who aren't interested in playing with other people at all, they are only interested in a single player experience, or at most coop. My boss plays a ton of games, but he only plays singleplayer or coop games. My parents play MMOs but they only play with each other or me or in-person friends. So a game being multiplayer only just won't appeal to some people.
That being the case, I would say that's not the kind of person I want to listen to about a multiplayer-only game. I guess the thing that's more baffling is that they showcased multiplayer-only games more than once after establishing that.
Wasn't it more Jack's project than anything?
I remember an early pre-rec stream where Jessi (damn it was a long time ago) read out my comment to Rich & Jack and it made them laugh. Felt good man.
I've always wondered what actually happened to her.

For me it was all about the streams, the closest we'll get to an RLM podcast. Their reviews never did much for me.
Oh my god what the fuck
I had no idea I wanted this
