I've started re-watching Voyager recently, and, well...

Yeah, it's pretty much exactly how I remember it.
Still prefer it over Discovery though.
Yeah, the Queen seems to be able to reincarnate at any time. The official Star Trek databank seems to infer that the Queen exists within the collective consciousness and simply manifests each time her body is destroyed, ergo thinking outside of three dimensions. That doesn't necessarily mean that the destruction of the Unicomplex didn't destroy the Borg, however.
Anyway, have this.

Huh. I never hear anyone talking about it like I hear people talking about Game of Thrones. I guess the streaming-only market is still comparatively small.
Hope this spells good things for the Picard series though.
I've always seen Game of Thrones as a soap opera with swords and dragons; I've never understood why it's so endearing to people.

Captain Lorca. Nice to see him again.
Probably for the same reason DS9 is so endearing. They both, for the most part, focus on characters. You see a concentrated effort to give characters dimension, to give them hardship, with opportunities to grow and change. I never bonded with a Star Trek cast the same way I did with the DS9 crew. Character drama isn't the same as soap opera, though it can dip its toes into the pool of tacky melodrama with some missteps.
Unlike DS9, I'm fairly certain Game of Thrones has embraced that tacky melodrama you speak of.
Have to say it, that name is really dumb.
The Next Generation as a name makes sense since its sorta soft reboot of a franchise
Voyager, DS9, ENT and Discovery are named after their Ships/Stations
Star Trek Picard just sounds like its trying to hard to pander to nostalgia.
The show is specifically about Picard, so the title makes sense.
When are we getting our series about Sisko's continuing adventures in the Celestial Temple?
Well, whenever Avery Brooks decides he wants to act and talk about Star Trek again.
A few glances and long distance shots of filming.
A glimpse from CBS Upfronts.
Long Distance A
Long Distance B
@Tuskin , saw some of your posts on STO. From Long Distance A it does appear that these are cousins of the Perpetual/Countdown designs.
I'm so happy about the uniforms! Let's hope the technology in the series does service to the TNG-era as well!
Another image, again from behind. You think with them being this close they would have gotten a picture from the front

Here we go, someone managed to get an image from the clip

Not a fan of the rank position, you basically have to look at their chest to see it.
Nice bit of Discovery continuity there with the vertical line through the delta.
It looks like a slight redesign of the Star Trek Online/ Star Trek Countdown Sierra 1 Uniform. It had the pips in the same location.

I know.
The pip location does seem sort of empty without a seam or defining line in the costume to justify their placement.
I do kinda hate the fact that the Starfleet delta is Discovery-inspired. Could also be inspired by the AGT-Combadge, just without expanding the rear gold bars beyond the delta itself.
Apparently there was a Picard trailer for a few minutes, but it's been pulled down again. Which, of course, means it's still out there somewhere.
TrekMovie put out a nice render of what we've seen of the new uniforms:

It should be out soon, the embargo ended 2 minutes ago
So it looks like Countdown is being pushed out of canon and we're seeing a Picard that got depressed after the destruction of Romulus?
It was never in canon.
