Dani filth on a Bring Me The Horizon Track?

As someone who heard of BMTH in 2006 and thus heard songs like Pray for Plagues, new BMTH just confuses me so much. The genre shift is so weird.
They changed genre pretty much every record. Personally Sempiternal was their peak for me, but this new sound isn’t bad.

I'm so excited for this.

Some black metal for you folks. I continue to be amazed a single dude in Indonesia pulls this off so well.
This new slipknot track is actually pretty good
What is this, 2005?
yeah, i expected garbage like the gray chapter, but I didnt feel like stopping a quarter the way through the song like I do with pretty much all of the songs on .5
guitar tones are a bit wonky, but all of their albums had meh tones anyway.
Also, ByoNoiseGenerator 1uped themselves THIS ALBUM IS 16 MINUTES LONG, A MINUTE LONGER THAN THEIR LAST ALBUM

And Sulphur Aeon has an album coming out soon, somehow it almost flew under my nose.

Having checked it out, I kinda like the new Slipknot but the mixing is horrible. The vocals need to be considerably louder.
This has been stuck in my head all day

Haven't listened to this demo before. Land of No Return is a bit rough on the edges for my taste. I like the official release version better for that song, but that gritty version of Zombie Ritual and Mutilation are fucking awesome.
Random question but worth a shot: how much control do bands have over what venues to play in?
I ask because after selling out a 750 capacity venue last Sunday, Idles's next stop is at a venue with a capacity of 500, that sold out in about half an hour.

I discovered Burning Witches yesterday, some cool stuff.

Oh man, you just got me into Bolt Thrower. I had no idea these guys existed but this is fantastic. Thank you!
I think Disanto is considering ending Vektor. But it's mere speculation.

This made me smile. Bolt Thrower are definitely on my "top ten" list for my favorite bands across all genres. If you like any one song from them I can almost guarantee that you will enjoy some of their other stuff. If you want more suggestions I would recommend checking out the albums Mercenary, Those Once Loyal, ...For Victory, and Honour, Valour, Pride. After that I would start exploring the rest of their discography, because they are by far one of the most consistent bands(as far as quality) that I listen to. Just keep in mind their early stuff is very different, but it's still good in it's own grittier and more visceral way.
If you want some individual song suggestions to start out with I would recommend the following:

Oh yeah, I've been digging through their stuff. I think the older stuff is my favorite, hard to beat what is essentially WH40K theme music!

An interesting black metal album based on the first world war. I was initially concerned it might be neonazi trash (my fears made worse by their Metal Archive photo featuring them in Imperial German uniforms) but their lyrics check out to me.

Can't wait for Saturday to get here. Gonna get out of work, shove some food down my throat and then immediately take the train to Amsterdam to see Wage War and August Burns Red.

Good to see someone else liking Anaal Nathrakh's latest. Got to see them live last month and Forward was just the fucking tits live.
that new horrendous album was my first foray into death metal and it was pretty fucking solid. out of what little on your list ive actually heard khemmis was great too.

I recommend anyone having the chance to see Slayer on their "final" world tour. Saw them last week and it was terrific.
Great lineup as well with Obituary, Anthrax and Lamb of God. Anthrax was fucking funny live, loved em. Lamb wasn't my cup of tea.
But Slayer goddamn, they were in great form, even without Gary Holt.
They were announced for a festival in my country next year, conveniently a couple days after the concert I went to which I thought was going to be the last one here lol.
I don't mind seeing them again next year though. If you're considering seeing them, I definitely recommend it.
Indeed, he was fantastic. Also incredibly wholesome checking out his Instagram posts about how it feels playing with Slayer.
Apparently he received the call less than 24 hours after finishing his final Machine Head show, and was asked to step in for Holt. Goddamn that has got to be the greatest feeling ever.
Saw them in Stockholm a week ago, it was fucking killer
Sadly we missed Obituary because we got out from the hotel a bit late and then we got lost and couldn't find the gate on our tickets
I suppose Anthrax opened up and finished with Cowboys from Hell everywhere else too?
We thought it was just background music while they were finishing rigging the stage but then they all came out on the stage and started playing it
