I really wish I had the time and money to see more live gigs. The best I've seen was Mogwai, and that was in a tiny venue with like 25 other people. Are festivals really worth it? They always seem like such a stress

Yes and no. Festivals are cool because of the large crowd dynamic, but suck because more people=more idiots/assholes. I only recommend going to one if a lot of bands you like are going to be there.

I don't do festivals simply because I don't have the endurance for them. I did EMM once, which was two days of around 3 to midnight and I was pretty much running on fumes by the end of day 2. I can't imagine doing something like Graspop.

Next gig paid for. Seeing Brujeria, Venomous Concept, Agression and Sangre on the 4th. Which means that not only will I be seeing Shane Embury play twice in one evening, neither of those bands is the one he's most known for. Who I also haven't seen live yet, to my dismay.

this gave me a raging erection I've been a huge fan of thrash for years but I've listened to all the old school shit and gotten tired of it, and finding that kind of songwriting and playing that matches the mid 80s speed shit is so hard to find these days but this legit has it all. It's not overcomplicated, the vocals sound great, the production sounds awesome and it's not fucking overcompressed which I love, even down to the straight 80s fucking artwork. @Joazzz dude is it still possible to get a digital version of the Radux album? The video you posted said vinyl and digital but I couldn't find anywhere to buy it digitally and I don't have a record player (also get it on Spotify and shit pls)

Spent roughly 30 euros on ticket + transport and about an hour and 15 minutes travel time each way to see Wage War play last night for about 45 minutes. Fucking. Worth it. If you can catch them, do it.
