That only leaves room for Avengers 4, Far From Home, and Spider-Man 3. Hey, does that mean we might get two Spider-Man films between Avengers 4 and the next team film? I guess Spider-Man could miss out on an Avengers movie, but I wonder if Marvel would let that happen seeing as he's a big draw.
Anything beyond that we can only speculate and wait. Nothing points to spelling doom, anyways. I don't think Venom's success will have anything to do with it, either. Amy seems to really want Venom to be made part of MCU, and by the time Spider-man 3 is available they'll probably have already come out with Jared Leto's Morbius, which I'm pretty confident will not even come close to Venom numbers.
Went to see Venom despite reviews. From clips and trailers I saw prior, my expectations set me to believe it was going to be a silly movie. It did not disappoint.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-f8LSabAdo&feature=youtu.be&t=100 At 1:40, there's a note of a lame joke Mystique makes about the women saving the team time and again, and they should be called X-Women.
Oh this thing is gonna be shit.
They bumped the release back to June from February, so apparently someone at Fox has faith in it... or Simon Kingberg used whatever pull he had left to save it from being dumped in the midwinter months.
Is February still the dumping ground for trash? Like, not quite "Fuck You, It's January", but close? Cause I feel like releasing a big-budget superhero movie amidst a bunch of rom-coms and literally-nothings is a pretty sound strategy (especially after Black Panther made bank).
never occurred to me that all my favorite xmen characters are just the females in the cast.
Nah, they're pushing it back far enough that it can't come out before Disney has a chance to decide to scrap it altogether.
Venom 2 Rating Will Probably Be PG Spoilers warnings for Venom
I did see a clip where She-Venom bit a guys head off and threw his headless corpse away and you see it so they can still get away with some shit.
Got to catch an English screening of Venom two days ago. I went in with low expectations seeing as I already knew about all the surrounding corporate meddling and was happily surprised in a couple ways. The movie's still entertaining at its core but it needed those extra forty minutes to make a lick of sense. At many points throughout it felt like a film that was messed with heavily post-production. Some scenes feel completely out of order like how Brock only teaches Venom the rules (no innocent deaths etc) as the last scene in the film and due to the amount of spliced/removed scenes some characters tend to spontaneously know things they were not set up to know whatsoever. It had one scene which I thought was just dragging on for absolutely fucking ever, the motorbike chase sequence which just does not end and is essentially the same stunt occurring about ten times in a row. Everything else, despite the often bizarre or nonsensical order of the scenes caused by what I assume was the sudden rating shift forcing them to obscure a lot of the violence as well as the removal of so much of the film, flowed rather nicely despite the story repeatedly falling back into the typical "we must stop this villain who's just the protag but stronger from sending a thing into space or else the world will end" song and dance. Wish it had been more of Eddy and Venom's weird as fuck relationship and less of the typical superhero beats because those scenes are almost universally great, weird and fascinating. The movie does not shy away from how bizarre and mutually abusive their situation is and doesn't really try to avoid the sexual aspect of it which came as a welcome surprise, as I expected that kind of stuff to just disappear in the rating shift.

I could see Morbius working as a stand-alone film. He's less tied to Spider-Man than Venom is and they still managed with that apparently.
https://comicbook.com/marvel/2018/10/10/kraven-the-hunter-movie-spider-man-last-hunt/ They're somehow making me interested in this movie.
plus that's just avi arad saying stupid shit, nothing conclusive
Honestly, I'd be down if they took the Joaquin Phoenix Joker route and just started adapting famous storylines as one-off elseworlds stories. The whole "Cinematic Universe" thing is amazing, but it's also incredibly restrictive. Because of how the MCU has worked out, there's no way to do an accurate adaptation of things like Spider-Man trying to join the Fantastic Four, Demon in a Bottle, or the whole "who's the Hobgoblin" mystery. Important characters from the source material have been killed off or re-interpreted in ways that make certain stories un-doable, and that's not even counting the ones like Punisher MAX or Spider-Man: Reign that Disney would simply never let happen. If Sony wants to start putting out standalone one-shots that bring stuff like Kraven's Last Hunt to the big screen, then I'm all for it, so long as they get someone who knows what they're doing.
If this doesn't start the next phase I'm done http://arthuradamsart.com/sites/default/files/styles/large/public/2621472-fantastic_four_1961_1996_1st_series_348.jpeg?itok=PM8p423W
Toys for Avengers 4 have began to leak. Who knows if it's real though.
I love that they gave Rocket a new outfit. Also matching armor?
Wolverine looking straight out of OG planet of the apes
Looks a lot like comic Gamorra's armor
The guess is Quantum Realm armor.
whatever that armor is, it looks like captain marvel doesn't need it
Speaking of. https://twitter.com/Collider/status/1050405538540994564 She's the new face, I'm guessing.
It’d make sense, since doesn’t she get her powers from quantum light or am I confusing that with Mar-Vell?

I never got why they tried to screw with perfection. Just do the classic red and blue pajamas. Peter Parker is a kid, it makes sense that he's the one Avenger who doesn't go for the "tacticool black lines" redesign.
I like it because it reminds me of the Alex Ross suit
