That man is one of the worst things to happen to Disney. As a person with family who had 20+ years in WDW.
Perhaps for wage slaves. But then, in what megacorp is this not the case? However, from a business perspective, Bob Iger's reign at Disney is undoubtedly one of the biggest success stories of the last decade.
Say what you want about Eisner, the man had the attention span of a retarded goldfish but at least he was down to do some fuckin' weird shit. Iger is like when you're playing a game with RPG elements and you can just hit the "auto-pick" button to automatically filter out your gear for whichever loadout will give you the best numbers.
i'll give you a better one: its like playing theme park and never ever try to kill people off a faulty rollercoaster.
Finally got around to watching Daredevil. Excellent season and was a lot more focused overall. Damn shame they cancelled it.
So I've finally started watching the third season of Daredevil. I'm around episode five. So far so good, I must say. I only have some very minor nitpicks, namely that (like all the other Marvel-Netflix series) the narrative build-up is excruciatingly slow, I don't really give two fucks about Karren Page and, while I love his performance, Vincent D'Onofrio could drop the stuttering and random-voice-rising act at this point. By the way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25qUGJN2SfM FUCK YEAH HALLWAYS
This is not by accident.
I hope they revive Daredevil on Disney's streaming service, just so we can get more Fiskposting: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241798/5e1dbf31-f9ff-4c7e-ab19-426ae997fe82/image.png
... Really?
Literally watch one interview with the man and you'll realise its adopted for acting. extremely well acted i might add, it's a lot harder than it seems.
Wait, yes, I know they are mannerisms he gave to the character and aren't natural to the way he speaks normally. I was arguing that I think he could have done without. In the first season, these mannerisms where important to show that Willson Fisk was on the process of becoming the iconic Kingpin, but come season 2 and 3 that transiction has already happened, so I can't see why keeping up that specific act
Because for the character of Wilson Fisk in this universe, he's a supremely autistic psychopath. You can't just turn that off, it's one of his defining features.
That's actually one hell of a good point
I was pretty ehh on NetFisk until that car door scene. He's like the older Clegane brother in terms of raw power just crushing shit.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeNMFZGyNQU&feature=youtu.be heh
They couldn't even be assed to animate him snapping his fingers. It's a cute gag but they couldn't even do that right.
Good reminder that these guys will be in Disney's hands by the end of this year.
I don't even want to know.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BspI0bDHMHc/ This might be the Far from Home trailer. Not sure though.
Nope the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYYtuKyMtY8
It looks fun, but I feel like I know pretty much how the plot will go: Mysterio is a sham, wanna-be superhero and Hydro-Man or whatever are illusions (or created by Mysterio). Still, I like that it's not set in New York and it's using lesser-utilized characters again.

He's going to find something in the old briefcase again isn't he?
Did we know Nick Fury was in this? Because it was a surprise to me.
There were a lot of set photos of them on a boat, but if you're asking "officially", no, I don't think they talked about this. I'm really excited about Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio, damn he looks good!
Looks way more interesting than the first one, and the fact that's a Spiderman movie not set in New York also makes it a breath of fresh air.
and then the movie ends with them on the bus back to ny only to find a giant ship hovering over the city, making it a IW prequel.
I'll be completely honest: Mysterio is the only thing that makes me give a single fuck about that movie. It must be the Spider-verse effect, I'm sure
He's gonna be relevant again with the supergirl film I think.
nnnnnope, it's confirmed to happen after Infinity War
