I'm really hoping that they keep with the dark tone for a decent amount of the movie.
looks like rocket has the suit from that leaked toy art
Just noticed that captain's hand was visibly shaking and was bloodied and dirtied up. that can't be good...
I thought so too at first, but I'm seeing comments on other sites that it might instead actually be the original GOTG comic outfits.
So I couldn't help but notice when they showed Hawkeye he was in red.
who is the blonde?
black widow

those buttons too
Is it just me or does that last "not us" sound off? Like robotic?
I like how they're showing us literally nothing. Like, all of these shots look like they could have come from the first 20 minutes. I remember James Gunn refused to let Marvel use anything from beyond the first act in the GotG 2 trailers (aside from the "MANTIS, LOOK OUT!" bit) and I feel that's absolutely the way to go. If you've made an interesting movie, you should have no problem keeping the entire third act under wraps. My interest as an audience member shouldn't be carried 100% by "ooh at the end of this they're gonna go punch that guy from the comics". Like, that's an issue I noticed upon rewatching Civil War; it's still excellent, but there are large stretches where you almost get distracted because you know that airport scene is coming up later and that's what you really paid money to see.
Feige said the marketing campaign would only use the first 15-20 minutes.

I've seen people theorize that it's said by Ultron, although I don't hear it nor do I think that would make much sense.

I wonder whats up with all those boats moored next to Liberty Island. Refugee camp? Boats belonging to people who no longer exist?
Probably the boats whose drivers/captains were dusted off. I also heard of the seats in the Citi stadium being dark/black because of the dusted people.
You can also see cars piled up in the stadium's parking spaces, I'm guessing they're also cars that were left in streets after their drivers were gone.
Seeing the abandoned buildings and boats makes me excited for how they're going to show what's left of humanity and how they've managed to cope since the snap.
I wonder if the Snap was truly random, meaning some nations could still have more than 50% of their population, while others would have less.
Late reply but I honestly really love the fact that a) this grim, serious trailer features a walking raccoon in it and b) literally no one watching will actually question this at all.
I don't think Thanos cares about borders.
I always thought that it basically was as even as possible. Otherwise on a universal scale you'd end up with entire galaxy's without life
Yeah, I'm just saying if it was random, some smaller countries could still have most of their population. The post-Snap political world would be pretty chaotic.
I don't hear Ultron either, but it would not be out of the realm of possibilities... the movie does deal with time-travel after all...
I'm mostly thinking of it from a meta perspective, as even if Ultron is in the movie I don't see why they'd give him a line at the end of a TV spot. Always game for more Ultron, though. A friend of mine said she heard Thanos mixed with Cap. That'd be neat and make more thematic sense, since Thanos was clearly unable to move on from Titan's destruction (and likely the fact that he had to kill Gamora).
It CANT be that specific. imagine having to factor every single specific variation on each race and its subsequent political divisions in the universe.
I assumed it just went person by person. This person: Yes/No, flip coin. This person: Yes/No, flip coin, etc. That should come out about even everywhere, theoretically, aside from pockets of unlikely possibilities.
