Trigger only worked on the first like 6-12 eps iirc but even then it was mostly A-1's doing.
mob psycho 2 blowing every other show out of the fucking water immediately IDGAF if they haven't aired yet
Studio Trigger's batting average is probably at around 50% now.
i thought you'd be wrong but holy crap https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/326417/e728b655-4887-40fd-849e-3dfc1648f15a/image.png KLK: really enjoyed it when supernatural battles became commonplace: haven't watched (looks bad) luluco: watched, was alright kiznaiver: didn't like little witch academia: enjoyed it darling in the franxx: absolute trash gridman: enjoyed it special mention to gurren lagann which shares a lot of staff and director with studio trigger
Trigger only worked on 6 episodes. A-1 did 8 Cloverworks did 10
There's also Ninja Slayer and Inferno Cop.
I'm just clarifying how much each studio did, because ninny was slightly off.
mob psycho was lit
dororo was lit. i liked the source manga, i liked the original anime, i liked the live action movie.
Man I really want the Promised Neverland anime to turn out good but I know Cloverworks is doing that one too so I'm not optimistic. I won't be surprised if it's successful, really, but I think it'll be due entirely to the strength of the source material, not due to any particularly inspired adaptation.
Dororo is doing its own thing and is pretty good, but it looks like it's probably going to cut or change the context of a bunch of stuff I liked in the original anime which is a shame.
If anyone's looking for a fantastic, relatively short read, I just finished Three Days of Happiness. Only three volumes, bitter-sweet story. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/527/ce629732-f06b-4c4d-8902-42bb56297374/Three Days of Happiness.png It may be tangential, but I put on the Sora no Woto OST while reading, and I finished the last chapter right at the last song, Bruine Assassine, which perfectly fit the conclusion of it. So would recommend putting on your favorite relaxed anime ost while reading.
That manga was great but it was a little too bitter of an ending for me on the bittersweet scale.
Eh, I guess it just depends on how you look at it. I thought it was a pretty happy ending given the initial premise, I definitely thought things would end on a worse note for everyone.
really enjoyed that, thanks. i went ahead and read Azure and Claude too, by the same author. it's not as good, but it's nice.
nah man it was smooth
brock got a gf after 20 years holy shit https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/1750/6f7f0912-bee7-4681-b6f0-0e39b426ef5e/image.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/1750/b6773fc2-9903-481c-86cf-87d0657ac288/image.png
Decided to get into Mob Psycho after my girlfriend recommended to me and the announcement of season 2. God damn I haven't stopped watching since I started, I'm on the OVA now and I'm loving every part of this.
watch wataten if you want to die from diabetes before the fbi gets to you
Mob Psycho's first episode of S2 stirs the cautious sorrow of how the S2 of One Punch Man will turn out.
Rinshi!!! Ekoda-Chan strives to a wacker short anime than Pop Team Epic by being three minutes of weird comedy and 23 minutes of interviewing the director.
i read that as Ebola-Chan at first
dororo is going to be 24 episodes, hype. also mob s2e1 was really good
Mob Psycho Season 2's first episode was adorable. Can't wait for mote.
The Promised Neverland was good. I wonder how far they'll adapt though.
If you read the manga it should be pretty obvious at what point it's gonna end.
If we're thinking along the same line, that's like 5 volumes of manga.
The Promised Neverland has the most well-defined ending point for a first season possible, and I'll be surprised if they don't try to reach that at all costs.
First ep of Promised Neverland was pretty great, coming from a never-read-the-manga perspective. Definitely want to find out what happens next. Getting good Shinsekai Yori vibes.
I presume to somewhere just after they escape to the forest?
