There is going to be a comedy shitshow I think outside the show about Ilulu the moment she is introduced to Kobayashi, which should be right at the start of the season basically. Cause like Kanna didn't really have that given how she isn't sexualized in her design, even if she can't stop teasing the fuck out of Saikawa. But Ilulu is around 60% breasts and thats going to be a thing.

It can't possibly be worse than forehead girl who made up for not being overtly sexualised by being a massive creep and having all of her scenes be heavy lolicon pandering.
You might think that but you'd be wrong. NSFW
why
just started catching up with the highlights of this season no idea how mob could possibly follow up ep5, that felt less like an episode and more like one of those movies that come out after an anime to wrap things up, really fantastic atmosphere and tone on display there
and holy moly the quality of animation on display
the animation is the most obvious but everything's at full force in mob s2 the direction and especially the sound design which i feel is often overlooked it's really the key to why mob's tone flip-flopping works, serious moments like reigen checking his facebook have very realistic and immersive sound design with no soundtrack, which is why it's so effective
They seem to be taking Mob in a coming of age ish direction so you can at the very least look forward to him having his hard broken.

Shouldn't have made the show in Unreal. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/527/95cda234-287e-4903-b58e-85460d48e73c/Unreal Engine.gif
I've been wondering what this is from.
Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/1844/5be8a1e0-aa98-4e04-b2cf-8eeceb4e29df/[HorribleSubs] Mobile Suit Gundam - Iron-Blooded Orphans - 04 [720p].mkv_snapshot_13.31_[2015.10.26_03.52.23].jpg
Fucking gingerbread orphans.
I mean the fat guy in that screenshot is called Biscuit and his sisters are called Cookie and Cracker and they're orphans so you're not incorrect.
Jesus did you just rewatch it or did that show really leave that much of an impression on you lol
It's not hard to remember a main character's dumb name in an extraordinarily dull first season of a show.
He eats the other orphans I guess.
i always get bullied for saying i enjoyed ibo
Rightly so jk u can enjoy whatever trash u want <3
It's a nice change from beam spam and nu-type bullshit.
g-saviour better anyhow
IBO's problem is that it has a lot of good ideas on paper it doesn't really execute very well. The lack of beam weapons is one of them, it seems like a great solution to beam-spam fights but in practice every fight instead turns into "mikazuki one-shots everybody in his path with his mace because he's an unstoppable god of destruction for 95% of the show to the point that the show needs to introduce unbeatable plot devices for anything to actually pose a threat to him".
It's true, a lot of that can be blamed on the fact they're in Calamity Gundams instead of mass production units too, I don't think they're going to not use overpowered mecha because they're iconic and Bandai wants to sell Gunpla. (Unrelated, but a big reason I like 08th MS Team (before it fell off in the second half) is the mass produced aspect of the RX-79's and GMs, the Zeeks not yet having Beam Rifles, the characters using a semblance of squad tactics, among other things) I don't think it entirely diminished the anti-beam focus of IBO though. There's a few scenes I remember off the top of my head with their mechanized troops using ballistic weapons with MS in hit-and-runs and what have you to engage, which is a nice switch up. (Initial scene of Gjallarhorn attacking them in S1 EP 1-2, S2 the attack on Edmonton) It's been quite some time since I watched it so I don't recall the hound-dog scent scene but I'll take your word for it, it's bad writing. The Alaya-Vijnana does make a fair bit of them almost as crazy as nu-type's but there's definitely physical repercussions to overusing the system (You could argue that the mental suffering nu-types suffer is in the same vein but they're a lot rarer than Alaya interfacers and some people are more resilient to it.) I'm rambling at this point but, the mobility of Mobile Suits is definitely a boon to melee being such a huge thing in IBO. Even in western style mecha (Battletech) melee combat is at times better than ranged engagement (provided you can close the gap). Stepping on a 200 ton tank in Battletech for example will just demolish it and kill the crew instantly, damaging a mech's leg actuators or tripping them is basically a death sentence.
To be honest, stepping might be difficult, since 200-ton vehicle might actually be just as able to ram into a mech and cause damage. A big thing is a big thing.
Well all the Super-Heavy stuff doesn't go very fast, even an Assault with the smallest engine could outrun it so I'm not sure I could ever see it happening unless it manages to sneak up on you
The sneakiest Demolisher... Must be Liao's.
Alaya-Vijnana basically collects the various False/Cyber Newtype systems from the previous shows and mashes them together, so physical (and mental) damage is natural as a result. Shit's whack.
I watched up to the start of the 2nd season before forgetting about it. I do remember being really perplexed on how future Canada's political system worked. On that note, I just watched Mari Okada's Maquia. 'Twas nice.
oh my god domestic gf somehow manages to get trashier with each episode and I still can't bring myself to stop watching it
