is it worth watching if i havent watched overlord and re:zero? (i've thought about watching re:zero but i'm not terribly crazy about it)
The only real thing you need to know about Overlord is that the main character is only a big mean skeleton man on the outside and his minions are all former NPCs who are literally programmed to have undying loyalty to him and don't know that their boss is a former human. To be honest Ains is more fun of a character in Isekai Quartet than his own show. For Re:Zero is kind of spoils some character development for one character which is notable given there's an arc built around reaching that point, but otherwise is very surface level. So you can probably get away with it. The Re:Zero cast probably gets the least amount of focus so the Konosuba and Youjo Senki cast carry the show on their backs enough that you'll probably be fine going in.
Been reading some dead dead demons. Excellent type shit. Top tier. I knew it all along and now I can confirm it with anime science.
Naruto is really not that bad. It has some decent character design and such. It's at least worth watching for some of the best cuts of animation the medium has ever put out. Norio Matsumoto is a legend and Naoki Kobayashi is probably my single favorite animator ever. At its best, the premise of ninjas and jutsu provide for some of the most interesting fights and choreography out of the entire shounen genre. You will, flat out, never see hand to hand combat animated better than it is in Naruto. https://www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/26735 This segment has work by both animators. The 2nd and 3rd cuts are my favorites ever
Hefty claim to make, but I'll bite. One Punch Man, Concrete Revolutio, Towa no Quon, Cowboy Bebop's movie, Hajime no Ippo, Darker than Black, Grappler Baki, Blazing Transfer Student, Kara no Kyoukai, Katanagatari, Kekkai Sensen, Kurokami, Riding Bean, Shadow Skill, Sword of the Stranger, Tsugumomo.
Wasn't there a fight scene in Naruto that was basically traced from the Cowboy Bebop movie? I remember that gif floating around years ago.
http://i.imgur.com/0YoF67H.gif They're both animated by the same person, and they're both a homage to some Jackie Chan movie. You can't really plagiarise yourself. https://i.imgur.com/VTMx3kI.gif
last i heard they're both copying the same bruce lee fight scene
I heard it was Bruce Lee as well, then when I look it up other people claim it's Jackie Chan. I'm still looking for the original source so I'll see if I can confirm which one it is.
I'll admit that there are quite a few that I haven't gotten the chance to watch on there, but I prefer Naruto's best stuff over OPM. The choreography is just a bit more fluid and dynamic, and places more of an emphasis on the intimate details of combat compared to the bombastic over-the-top style of OPM. What I generally get from this list, though, is that each of these series do a lot of different things exceptionally, and that there isn't really one "best" way to do hand-to-hand combat animation. It all depends on what you want out of it. I'll give you the Cowboy Bebop movie though. Had totally slipped my mind.
I've seen the rest and although at that time I haven't watched Overlord since the cover art was kinda unappealing to me, Isekai Quartet got me to watch after particular scene. "Uwah... They're from some war world." Basically, you might end up looking into the two after getting a taste of their character interactions, give it a try at least.
Oh if I started watching it, I would probably want a version with the dogshit filler included. I mean, imagine watching DBZ and never knowing if Goku and Piccolo ever got their driver's licenses!
Re-reading Akumetsu. I forgot how amazingly cathartic that manga was, especially in today's political climate.
I don't get the whole "keeping up with all the seasonal anime" stuff. It seems so tiring.
Unless you're watching a lot of trash or the season is packed on particular days, it's at best an hour out of your day or less, not including spreading things out over the week.
missed u guys

Probably not fake, I'd prepare for it to full close down.
