I don't know the studio but I'm interested. If they can get the writers of 2049 on board to at least help them out that'd be a good start. Not knowing the currently listed people, I don't see anything that worries me.
It makes me really happy that two shows this season have referenced marimite.
Zombieland saga of this week was pretty great.
Though the true highlight was:

imo the anime industry is due for a crash like the Video Game crash of 1985.
If the anime industry collapses it'll be due to the back of its workers breaking, not due to consumer confidence plummeting or sales falling , at least not without some major series of events.
After all, profits have been going way up in the last five years and pretty much everybody particularly animators are treated as utterly disposable and things don't tend to have much attention paid to them until somebody dies of overwork.
I predict the anime industry crashes within the next 5 or so years but it isn't because of profits at all like reds said. the insane overwork of the dwindling and thinly stretched talent can only go so far.
Is industry action a thing in Japan, for any industry?
waiting for non non biyori movie to be available...
Unions are not viable to set up for jobs where providers are expendable.
What was the 4th month of the year called again?
Oh right, it's

I really hope this isnt the case and hopefully the anime industry realizes that hey the animators are not just moving hands with feelings. Makes me wonder if all of this is why certain properties are being delayed or constantly pushed back for quality like Rebuild, or anything else I can't find examples of.
On the lighter side;

My curiosity about the Fate Universe has reached its peak.

Not me, I've been saying it's crap since day 1.

Planet With
Banana Fish is amazing but you probably won't like it because the main character is gay and that puts off a lot of idiots people.
im finally picking up jojo again after dropping it after the stands. i was told to watch diamond is unbreakable because that didnt require watching the previous seasons and it'd get me hooked again
i've watched 11 episodes in 2 days
jojo is a drug
Definitely Darling in the Franxx. In fact Streecer loved it so much he produced a multipart YouTube series on just how much he loved it and how great it is.
Don't do it.
Houseki no kuni.

He watched it and basically managed to not understand any of it, missing or misunderstanding so much that it's downright staggerin. I wrote a post about it if you scroll down here a little.

abunai si sters
I'm pretty similar to you on this, in that re:zero and MiA were my highlights of the past couple years, and Girls Last Tour was a huge hit for me. Really enjoyed it. Haven't been super compelled to watch anything since.
