I would've liked to see the interaction between him and Red Skull tbh
If it wasn't for the gore(if i recall correctly) in theory all the poor hydra lackeys they tested their tesseract guns on could be randomly placed across space?
Thats actually what Hulk was like during the Infinity Gauntlet comic. Its a thing from the source material.
I watched endgame on shrooms. The experience is indescribable. I kept seeing layers and layers of fractal like complexity in the characters and the story...it was so overwhelming my only reaction was speechless awe. Thanos is my favorite movie villain ever and I just want to watch this film again to appreciate it longer.Thinking about time travel and the paradoxes that come with it on shrooms is like running a stress test program on your brain.
One very very slim possibility, is that the stones while atomized weren't technically destroyed and could reform themselves since they are such cosmic entities, after all the time stone can be used to reverse the destruction of any of the other stones and I'd surmise the reality stone or space stones have no problem poofing back into existence given that their powers are fucking with space and reality. Hell if pre-dusting Strange really did see the future than he could have just gone forward and undid thanos snapping them to atoms
Can someone explain to me how the timelines work? Here's how I understand it: Thanos succeeds, the Avengers decide to go back in time and get the stones before he can, he figures it out and decides to jump the shark and get them, then is killed, which means that the Avengers never could have gone back in time and stopped him in the first place? Also, Gamora killing past Nebula is fucking with my brain on all kinds of levels. If someone could explain to me how present Nebula still exists it would be much appreciated.
You missed the entire part where they explained that when they use the quantum device, they don't go back to their OWN timeline, they jump back into the timeline of a parallel universe.
Huh. I don't quite remember that. Where was that in the film?
When they meet Professor Hulk, he explains why time travel doesn't work like in Back to the Future.
Congrats, you've found the same plothole many other people are finding. Personally, I'm gonna stick with the theory that he spent 40 years or w/e living with Peggy in another timeline, and then used his last jump to return to the main universe so he could tell everyone what happened.
Did anyone else think for a solid minute that Ant-Man fucking died when the spaceship nuked the place right after Hulk snapped? I swear, one second he's like looking outside saying "Guys I think it worked!" and the next there's a bomb exploding in his face. I found it pretty lame that nobody even got injured during that.
I wonder what they're going to do with the Mandarin and the Ten Rings now that Tony Stark is dead that's still left unresolved
so whats stopping dormammu from dabbing on earth now that the time stone is gone?
Given that time doesn't exist in his dimension, my guess is the one time he attempted to enter Earth was "the" time he tried to enter earth, there are no 2nd chances as the mere concept of such doesn't exist in his dimension. My best guess, I know nothing of the Doctor Strange comics.
Cap presumably returned it to 2012 before heading back to 1945
I wonder if he even actually went straight to 1945. He didn't look that old at the end. I'm wondering if he returned to the 50s or 60s.
Dude gets fucking dunked on harder than I've ever seen and walks it off
Super Soldier Serum probably helped him not seem so old.
I want to see an entire movie based on that "fueled by rage and revenge" Scarlett Witch. I wanted nothing more than for her to just snap Thanos in half almost effortlessly.
The House of M/Disassembled will very likely be a thing. Feige is quite fond long game call backs.
I really want the House of M. But I feel like [sp] Spiderman needs some more development first. Just so we get a slightly older Spidey who has to come to terms with his perfect reality being fake.[/sp] <- Comic spoilers kinda
That was a lazy ass retcon done in a short film to appease the fans who were butthurt that the Mandarin in Iron Man 3 turned out to be a faker and a metaphor for American needing to get the fuck over 9/11. They aren't ever revisiting that shit.
In terms of absolutely based battle moments, I actually got so fucking hype when Captain Marvel showed up at the last battle, just because of how they introduced her. My main girl Wanda is just absolutely destroying Thanos, he starts stressing, orders some WH40K style 'rain fire' shit. Sorcerer shields have to be deployed to withstand the absolute bombardment of hellfire they're receiving. It's a pretty cool battle set piece. Then the cannons STOP FIRING and aim into the horizon. What last-minute ally do the avengers have that could draw the attention of an orbital bombardment? OH YEAH the super saiyan chick! fuck yeah that was awesome. I feel like a kid again nerding out over some of those battle set pieces.
I think he did reactivate his watch just much much later, they said he returned to them, though him not returning exactly to their pad kind of screws this theory as well
I wonder if he used his future knowledge to help that timeline in small ways. Maybe routing out Hydra in SHIELD before it became too big. also have Chris Pratt BTS vis chris pratt on Instagram
So now that Wakanda is back together, wouldn't they be able to rebuild Vision without the stone, since they said it was possible in the first place to remove it without harming him greatly?
I don't think so, they did have an opportunity to safely remove it but then Thanos kind of fucked that by pulling it out before they finished whatever they were doing with Vision.
But now they have really nothing else to do in their spare time than attempt to rebuild him without the stone. Probably would take longer than just removing it like before, but they don't have Thanos or any other big baddie breathing down their necks to rush.
Maybe this is how they'll start off WandaVision. Just introduce the new, Mind Stone-less Vision built by Wakanda.
exclusive spoiler scene: Jane Foster gets Aether pulled out from her by Rocket, only to be jammed back in by Steve Rogers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOgYhabN1sU
