I'm surprised how they have not shown Thanos at all.
We're probably only seeing clips from the first half-hour of the movie, if even that far in.

Someone on reddit found this. (posting in link form for obvious spoilers) https://i.imgur.com/2FtmoN8.png Man i can't wait to see professor hulk in action !
Not necessarily. Remember that Marvel lies in their trailers.
It's more likely that they would remove someone or something from a scene in the trailer than add. Removing just takes computer editing, but adding requires filming the actor doing something that won't even be used in the movie.
They did it with the Hulk showing up in Wakanda for Infinity War, which ultimately didn't happen.

You know he's gonna work his ass off on the next movie now
Nice, Kevin Feige never wanted James Gunn gone anyway, he probably convinced Disney to get him back.
This news has me over the moon that Guardians 3 actually has a strong chance of being great again, but I feel it's important to say still fuck Disney for firing him in the first place. Beyond glad he's back, can't wait for the movie, but I'm not gonna applaud the suits behind the whole decision just because they un-fucked a situation they themselves created. Honestly, Guardians 3 is kinda the only thing I'm excited for after Endgame. I was planning on taking it easy with these movies after Thanos was done, but the Guardians movies are good enough that I want to see that trilogy through to the end as well. I still stand by my claim that Guardians 2 is a strong contender for the best film in the entire MCU.
So disney punished him for that thing to appease the whole PR shitstorm that spawned from that stuff, only to put him again in place once the shitstorm was over to regain the favor of the fans and look again like the good guys. the plot thickens.

To be fair, now it’s only a shitstorm of angry alt-righters, trolls and literal idiots and who cares what they think?
I just came back from Captain Marvel. I found it kind bland and a bit slow. I don't think I would consider it the worst Marvel movie, but it doesn't really stand out among them either. Also, maybe it was just my theater but both action scenes (at the beginning and toward the end) seemed really dark. I had a hard time seeing what was happening and who was who.
I am still convinced that James Gunn was only fired originally to prevent any interference for the Disney-Fox deal from Trump, and that they fully intended hiring him back after the deal went through.
What would he have interfered with? I don't know about any history with Gunn and Fox
Gunn criticized Trump, who could've interfered with the deal by blocking it at the federal level. It has to do with anti-trust and stuff.
I'm sorry, but that theory is insane
That all feels a little overly complicated to me, to be honest. What if he'd turned down their offer to come back again? WB and Sony hired him for projects in the interim, so it's not like he'd be out of a job if he refused. My own assumption is that he was allowed to come back by Disney because of his behaviour throughout the whole business and/or because they realised Cernovich and co were acting in bad faith in the first place.
20th Century Fox is so much larger than Fox News, that theory is garbage.
Not really, since Trump tried to block the ATT and TimeWarner Merger over CNN: https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/04/media/att-time-warner-trump-gary-cohn/index.html And we do know that Trump was involved in the Disney-Fox deal: https://money.cnn.com/2017/12/14/media/donald-trump-rupert-murdoch-disney-21st-century-fox/index.html But at the end of the day, all that matters is that James Gunn is back, which I am glad for.
Mark Ruffalo literally campaigned for Bernie lol why would James Gunn be such a big deal for Trump
Jame Gunn is just the most vocal about it on Twitter I guess. For all the alt-right's ironic "orange mad bad"/NPC meme'ing, they sure do have an awfully "NPC" like reaction to anyone who dares speak even slightly out of tongue about God Emperor Trump.
Has to do with timing with the Rosanne firing. If Disney didn't take action it would have been throwing a barrel of gasoline on the deal since Trump was already mad at them about that.
The problem with all that awesome theorycraft is none of it actually happened, Iger (also Trump's buddy™) didn't even weigh in on Gunn, cause it happened below him. Gunn was fired by a female exec who took personal exception to his tweets, and Iger didn't even review the decision until journalists asked him why he fired Gunn, and he laid it rather plainly it never even reached his desk, and he had no opinion on it as he considered it handled. The James Gunn decision was brought to me as a unanimous decision of a variety of executives at the studio and I supported it. Iger is also a friend of Rupert Murdoch, and if he issue with Gunn's past he would fired before a day of filming began on the first movie.
Im glad he's back. Listening to someone like cernovich is no better than listening to alex jones
