Despite the clickbait title, this video does a spending job of piecing together all of the breadcrumbs foreshadowing Palpatine's return. They really did lay all of this out for us well in advance, and the hints made by the novels also neatly correspond with the MSW leaks.
His voice his irritating.
Could you post the cliff notes? I haven't time to watch a half hour video but I'm really curious to how they make their conclusions.
Basically, Chuck Wendig's Aftermath series laid the framework for his return right under our noses and we never connected the dots, mostly because Palpatine's return seemed inconceivable at the time given what we knew about how the ST was progressing. The Contingency plan and the hyperspace observatories Palpatine set up preceding the formation of the Empire were meant to prepare for his resurrection, not only to uncover safe hyperspace lanes in the Unknown Regions for a reborn Empire, but to discover what Palpatine believed to be the "source of the Dark Side," some malevolent presence. At some point in time prior to the Battle of Endor, these observatories completed their calculations, and Sidious traveled to the Unknown Regions to interface with this "source of the Dark Side," which seems to be the Beyond mentioned in the MSW leaks. Immediately prior to the Battle of Endor, Palpatine told Gallius Rax that should he fail to turn Luke Skywalker, his "greatest power" would be showcased, which seems to be whatever he learned from the Beyond , allowing him to cheat death. The video speculates that this place is very similar to the Wellspring of Life uncovered by Qui-Gon Jinn and visited by Yoda during the Clone Wars, and that it holds similar secrets leading to mastery over life and death. Additionally, Yupe Tashu, a character we had been led to believe was a fanatical lunatic, also corroborated this, saying that part of the Contingency involved Palpatine's return from the edges of the galaxy.
If this ends up playing well in Episode 9 as it sounds to be foretold then this could be the best moment(can trailer theories count as spoilers?) a long standing presence in a franchise coming back from seemingly a point of no return. If Force Ghost Yoda can interact in the real world imagine what Sidious can do if he figures it out. What if he possesses Kylo Ren into being a fresh new body for him. "I will finish what I've started as I have foreseen.

T seems like that's actually going to happen.

“Working on nine, I found myself approaching it slightly differently,” he says. “Which is to say that, on seven, I felt beholden to Star Wars in a way that was interesting—I was doing what to the best of my ability I felt Star Wars should be.” But this time something changed. Abrams found himself making different choices—for the camera angles, the lighting, the story. “It felt slightly more renegade; it felt slightly more like, you know, Fuck it, I’m going to do the thing that feels right because it does, not because it adheres to something.”

The Last Jedi was famously divisive among fans, but Abrams says he was emboldened by the ambitious swings Johnson took with his films: “Having seen what Rian did made me approach this from a place of instinct and gut. I was making choices I knew I would not have made on VII, some story-wise, but more in terms of directing. I found myself feeling less like I’m going to try and do something that feels like it’s [only] true to the specifics of this franchise or the story.”
Citing meetings he’s had with The Force Awakens and original trilogy writer Lawrence Kasdan as well as Rian Johnson and George Lucas, Abrams says the ending they settled on was specifically designed to close a satisfying arc that spans not just these final three films, but the complete Skywalker trilogy. “If a kid is watching all nine movies,” Abrams says, “he or she sees this one path, this inevitability and that’s the challenge of this movie.”

Woah Rey and Kylo are fighting on top of the Falcon in one of those shots
I think that could be theForce flash fight. They may not actually be on the Falcon.
Looking at the picture, I don't think it is. I can't quite match it to the Falcon's shapes.
Yeah, looking closer, I don't think it is.
Back to the Vader VR game, apparently Pablo Hidalgo voices the saber training droid in it.

Yeah that definitely isn't the Falcon. More likely it's a bit of Death Star detritus they're on.

Carrie in IX vs Carrie in VII.

Apparently Matt Smith was listed as an Ep9 cast member on Disney International sites, but has now been removed.
So, we expecting to see Matt Smith naked and wielding a lightsaber while covered in slime?

Or does he have a cameo as a stormtrooper that gets cut from the film?
Can I make a prediction about Leia? Something tells me that General Leia isn't going to die in this. They already did a fakeout in TLJ, plus the fact that Carrie's dead killing her off unceremoniously would do the character a disservice meta-wise. Either way, this movie will make me cry bucketfuls of tears for her.
Also thank FUCK The Knights of Ren are back! They were super absent the whole time and now we'll see if Kylo Ren truly is their leader or if someone else's pulling their strings.
Yeah, it's been my assumption for a while that Leia's probably not going to be killed off in IX. Both because of how people could see it being disrespectful to Carrie and because I don't think they would go through the amount of effort they have to digitally insert her into the film if that were the case.
John Williams is going to drop a beautiful reprise of Leia's theme on us and I'm just going to sob myself into a coma right there in the cinema. You know it will happen.

Ah, so that's what that is. I couldn't figure it out.
You can't fix what's already perfect imo. The Executor ship was super OP in Empire at War capable of soloing any Rebel ship aside from Bombers that need to be target by fighters. Kind of why I had this softspot for Snoke's Flagship as it reminds me of the SSD class but MAN I wish it did more.
