ah yes, Morioh, a small Japanese town located in Spain
they're getting all the little details right!
The way Josuke moves at 1:06 followed by how the thug flies away for no reason, and how he just punches with his own fists at 1:15 makes me think stands might just not show up.
We'll just see the effects of them as if we were normal people in this world.
I can't imagine they'd make a Jojo film without stands, it might just be for the trailers.
Did you miss the part in the trailer where they won't stop saying STANDO for like every second

To be fair, shooting in Japan is a bitch because there's no legal assistance like road blocking or waivers for people who are just going through their business and show up on camera.
Spain was probably a cheap solution considering Morioh needs to be an ocean town.
Filmmaking in Japan is just a different environment.
Also, ffs OF COURSE there's gonna be stands. It's Japan. They're not in the game of withholding shit like that.

To be fair, shooting location is probably one of the main reasons part 4 was chosen along with its current popularity. Its set entirely in a small town, you can basically shoot anywhere. That's much easier on the budget than ye Olde England, new York Italy and Mexico, or THE ENTIRE WORLD.
I have an animeonly friend who has watched parts 1-3, and he says he's reluctant to watch part 4 because the main character has stupid hair.
I don't even know how to speak to this person about Jojo now.

Ignoring everything before The Hand, I don't see how you'd handle the non-punchghosts. Bad Company wouldn't work, and you'd have Koichi talking about an invisible egg. You'd have to start rewriting things from the ground up.

But he was completely fine with Jotaro's hat hair? I would just show him a picture of Gio's three donuts hairstyle and tell him you haven't seen stupid yet.

His hat has finally decided to eat his hair.
Wait, Jotaro's father was a Jazz musician? When is this confirmed?

I totally understand the reason for not shooting in Japan, but I just don't get why they chose Spain.
The architecture is just about as far as you can get from Japanese as possible.
I mean, it'll never be exact, but hell, tons of smaller southern coastal towns in America far more closely resemble Morioh than where they're shooting.

And here I thought I couldn't like Jotaro more.
I can't believe [sp]Johnathan Joestar is fucking dead.[/sp]

Well now that Part 1 is finished I can finally start part 2.
I had a dream that the reason Japan decided to make Part 4 instead of another part was because Parts 1 thru 3 became a Netflix Original Series.
:unimpressed:
Finally got around to reading Jorge Joestar. What the hell

Just finished part 6. I think it my be my new favorite part.I heard some people don't like the first half and some of the fights in it but i thought it was great the whole way through. That ending man.
Part 6 is mad underrated
I just watched the first two episodes after years of seeing the memes everywhere.
Why the fuck are they so swole? Also I got a hard on when Roundabout started playing. These guys got good taste in music.

Because it's the 80s and Fist of the North Star was popular.
