At this point, I think it would be really hard for somebody to be in that state unless they basically do not use the internet at all.
I was about as close to that as possible. I just started reading jojo about a year ago because I noticed that the bookstore had these hardcover copies.
But it's impossible not to have SOME knowledge of it beforehand. The internet was pretty crazy for the Capcom fighting game, so I knew there was a character called Dio, and a character called Jojo, and one of them could stop time and throw knives at people and he also liked to drop steamrollers on people and go WRYYYYYY. Also had a vague understanding of stands. But I was still pretty unaware of the anime until near the end of part 3, I guess because there was more hype all over the internet again. About all I had seen of it was the clip of Kakyoin with the cherry.
So it was a little lame to know ahead of time that [sp]Dio wasn't TOTALLY dead at the end of part 1[/sp]
But there were still some major facts I didn't know, like [sp]Each part having a different Jojo. There was a moment when I glanced at a manga volume of part 3 while still reading part 1 and I thought "Man, Jonathan looks really weird later in the series." Also assumed there must be some kind of time travel plot since part 3 looked like it took place in modern times, but Jonathan was still so young.[/sp] :v:
As an avid internet user for a large chunk of my life, I honestly didn't know anything at all about JoJo. Never even heard of it until after the first half of Stardust finished airing when one of my friends told me about it, got me interested, and we started watching it together. (From Phantom Blood of course) I never saw any WRYYY or Za Warudo jokes or anything. I honestly have no idea how it turned out like that.
"Zawarudo" was buried in my subconscious for-fucking-ever and I didn't even realize it was a JoJo reference until somebody shared an audio clip of it.
I can't believe [sp]Von Stroheim and Santana are fucking dead.[/sp]

[sp]Look on a bright side, at least you'll see Stroheim in Steel Ball Run.[/sp]

such is life when playing CAH
of all the things Araki introduced once and never used again, Speedwagon's razor hat is still the one I'm the most annoyed about

To be fair, it wouldn't be very usefull against any zombie. Speedwagon does use a sledgehammer to fightsome zombies at one point.
Holee crap. Joseph's gonna have to [sp]fight Wamuu after giving him the Wedding Ring of Death[/sp]. I can't wait to see what'll happen.
Ringo has one of the best character designs in part 7
honestly, the art in part 7 is superb but the women kind of have the samefacey thing going on

Mid-part 4 is my favorite iteration of Araki's style, it's a great medium between the exaggerated musculature of earlier parts and the slim style of later ones. Plus there are some great comedy bits in there that he pulls off really well.

Dio used sunscreen.
Don't know if this is late but someone recreated an instrumental version of Overdrive from Part 2's soundtrack (my favorite song from an amazing soundtrack)

[sp]They finally showed us stands.[/sp]
[sp]They don't even look that bad either. imo[/sp]
I haven't really been following this, so is the movie about the whole Part 4 or like just a part of it?

[sp]Angelo and Nijimura arcs.[/sp]

Well that sucks. They better not leave it at that though.
It's just until Okayasu joins the team.
Which makes Yukako's place in the plot really weird.
I actually the think the Stands look amazing.
It's probably the absolute best way to handle them in a Live Action environment and I didn't even consider an effect like that.
