It's an interesting game, some of the fights are pretty bullshit. But I recommend giving it a try, and also recommend watching a playthrough along while you play it so you can somewhat understand what's happening since it's all in Japanese.

I wonder how the game would of been received in the US if it did get released. HFTF was on PS1 by the time Golden Wind was released but the game still references Parts 1,2, and 4.

So it is now officially two whole years since the DiU anime announcement. Not to mention this is the longest we've gone between a canon anime break and an announcement

Do you guys think they'll split part 5 into two halves like they did with part 3, or just make it one continuous season like part 4? As much as I loved the extra time given to part 3, I kinda want them to get through 5 and 6 quickly so we can get a really long and awesome adaptation of part 7.

they'll probably go with the part 4 formula, part 3 was paced poorly because of how much had to be stretched out to make each arc 2 episodes in the second half, part 4 had to cut some moments out but i still much preferred that over the glacial pace of part 3

is it me or is part 6 rather slow? Like don't get me wrong I like the characters and story, but it's just kind of a slog to get through.

Part 6 isn't bad but its far from my favorite part .

Like don't get me wrong I like the characters and story, but it's just kind of a slog to get through.[/QUOTE] i think it's a combination of a couple of factors that makes part 6 feel slow, most importantly that stand fights have gotten pretty played out by that point and still just having every chapter be back-to-back stand fights makes you just want them to be over with so you can get more story

I think the movie came out 2 months later in Japan than it did in the US, and since Araki is a huge westaboo he'd already seen it in English in the meantime.
