don't forget, he wasn't expecting company that day. That's just what he wears around the house, apparently
those were just his underwear, he always wears those under his clothes
this is selfcest though
Exactly, and there's nothing gay about passionately embracing the idealized comic book version of yourself.

IIRC Araki said he was surprised when people were scared to meet him for the first time because they thought Rohan was a self-insert. He did say that if he wanted any stand he'd want Heaven's gate, though.
:buddy:
How do you mess up the name of a stand as memorable as Heaven's Floor?
How do you mess up the name of a stand as memorable as Heaven's Floor?
IKR, Duat's Entry is one my top 5 Stands.
What if there was a stand ability that made it impossible to remember your stand name so you couldn't summon it?
of course not
Thats not him.
Started watching the other day on Crunchyroll and holy shit this is amazing. I've never really been the best at describing specifically why I like something, but everything here is just fucking great. The art-style, OP, voice acting, story, everything. Just finished episode 8, and it feels like I have to be near the end of part 1, considering I just saw [sp]Jonathan fling Dio's disintigrating body off of a castle balcony.[/sp] I'm definitely going to have to marathon a shitload of episodes in a row when I get the time.
What if there was a stand ability that made it impossible to remember your stand name so you couldn't summon it?
something like that was one of my ideas a stand that made everyone forget about it as soon as they took their eyes off of it
What if there was a stand ability that made it impossible to remember your stand name so you couldn't summon it?
but people have summoned stands non-verbally all the time in the show? I like the concept but idk how it'd work
What if you forget how to summon it?
actually there is a stand in part 6/stone ocean that makes you only able to remember 3 things at once and iirc jolyene forgets how to summon her stand because of it. it's been like 2 years since i read all of Jojo so dont quote me on that :v:

[sp]Jail House Lock only targets ones short term memory, which was why Jolyne could spoil that movie. And why she didn't forget to breathe and shit[/sp]
just made a new Jojo fan last weekend Me and an old elementary school friend met for the first time in a few years and we smoked a few bowls and binged watched Jojo on crunchyroll. rewatching Jojo high is one of the best things I've done in recent memory. Anyways, my friend basically fell in love with the series. We ended up getting to the Santana / San Viento episodes before we stopped.

I tried to get one of my friends into JoJo but our schedules were so different we were only able to get one or two episodes into part 2 over the course of a month. She seemed to like it pretty well, though, so maybe we'll try watching more episodes sometime. I also have the manga but none of my friends really read comics. It's a bit hard to get someone into JoJo because you have to frontload it a bit before you get to the really good stuff. I enjoy Part 1 (and it's probably a good thing that it ramps up the bizarreness over the first half) but it's really not that good of an indicator of the style and tone of the series at large. And as much as I enjoy the crazy shenanigans of Joseph it's not until Stands are introduced that things really go off the rails. But since I read the manga to get into JoJo it was nice that we could both watch the anime for the first time. I really wish some of my friends made it to Part 3 or beyond to get into Stands. Ideally someone would have made it to part 4 (so I won't have to lie and say I'm David Bowie for halloween) but whatever
Whenever I'm trying to get a friend into JoJo I'll tell them to see part 2 first, than part 1. That's how I first saw the show and I don't regret it, I feel like part 1 works way better as a prequel to part 2.
I was able to get my girlfriend to watch Jojo by telling her I wanted to cosplay Part 2's protagonist, and that she'd enjoy the powers of Part 3 onward. Now, she's all caught up on the anime, is going to cosplay Caesar alongside me (sorry Suzie Q, you're just not as cool), and can't wait to read the manga of Part 5 onward once Part 4 finishes up. Overall, she loves it, and I'm so happy I was able to get someone into the Duwang Gang.
Pretty cool, me and my girlfriend are going to watch it soonish. She's pretty interested, all she really knows is british Gentlemen and vampires along with a little stand stuff but shes looking forward to it. and my Housemate keeps telling her to watch it. Although she loves dogs, to the level where DD getting shot in MGSV was almost too much for her, so i've had to warn her that dogs get it hard in jojo.
Yeah, sometimes I forget about things that happened in the earlier parts so I have to give "this part is messed up" warnings like five seconds in advance. Like how five seconds into episode 1 you see the driver's head impaled on a stick "oh yeah, there's crazy gore sometimes in this series"
When I first watched JoJo, I actually didn't think it would be that violent. But seeing that within the first minute into the show just made me audibly go, "Oh." Also the part where Dio tears that guy's head off.
My girlfriend is watching it with me too. Absolutely in love with it, especially the poses. Started a while ago, but now we are watching a few episodes every day. On part 3 right now, just about to start season 3. She loved the part where [sp]Avdol comes back. She kept asking me throughout the episode if it was legit or not, because Avdol is her favorite character...[/sp] So when it get's to [sp]the part where he flies away as a ghost, departing ways with Polnareff, I don't know if she will be able take it.[/sp]
:buddy:
It's ok I work on the videogame localisation teams
wtf people are able to get their girlfriends to watch jojo?? this one girl absolutely refused to watch jojo with me until i started reading homestuck which i politely yet firmly refused
one girl absolutely refused to watch jojo with me
she's not the one
