Maaan, [sp]deaths in this series have been hard on my girl- the death of Caesar and all the SC deaths had her need to pause the videos to take a break from all the emotions. She ESPECIALLY liked Iggy and Kakyoin, so those deaths hurt her the most. I'm glad she's as emotionally attached to the characters as I am, but fuck that was hard to watch.[/sp]
What was similarly hard to watch was [sp]Avdol's first "death," mainly because I had to hold in the fact that he showed up later. (She got real happy when that happened, at least). Same goes for the power of Dio's stand, and how Josuke fit in the family tree- its hard not to spoil this stuff when the art is everywhere.[/sp]

the preview always shows the best shots, so dont be surprised if it doesn't look too great
i'd forgive them for skimping on this episode as long as the next episode is their best so far, but they've already had 2 not-so-great looking episodes in a row so it's possible that both this week's and next week's episodes are lookers

Just started watching Part 2 and dear lord Joseph is an absolute fucking madman.
Already way more interesting, and even more visually stunning than the previous part. Pacing ramped up real fast though, a little harder to follow at a few parts.
Joseph pulling a tommy gun is the exact moment I went from "JJBA is pretty good, guess I'll keep reading" to "JJBA is amazing, I love it and will read it all"

When an artist's biggest influence is Italian and French Art Nouveau but they got into that shit before they got any formal education or training in art, this is what happens
they skip anatomy and volume and jump straight into the abstraction of human form without knowing the human form
and I wouldn't have it any other way
Also back when Jojo was weekly I suspect that he went straight into inking for some panels and only did layout in thumbnails, lending a hand to the overall wonkyness
actually I think going monthly did not change this
