does the collar have metallic framing in it or is the chain just hollow plastic

no, they use the invincible trio translations, which had their own translator
they kept a couple popular lines from the duwang translation just for fanservice, but most of it is new translations by the group itself

i had the same thing after watching the first 9 episodes of the second season of Kaiji (which is an amazing anime which you should all watch)
it takes a while for people to learn the rules but it's a ton of fun, thanks to all the multipliers the tension gets pretty high
