I have a bit of a conspiracy theory as to why none of the Part 4 OPs have been CGI

It's based on Bowie's performance alongside Annie Lennox of the song Under Pressure(by Queen and Bowie).

I really like the first one more overall. Has a comic book feel to it, I feel like the added animation was unnecessary.
I prefer the second one, the moment when rohan and Yukako turn around feels like it has some power to it

I think it's because of the star shatter effect, screen shake, and how fast they turn around.
The previous version only has the shatter.

To be fair, this is my favorite part about Part 4- the villain is fuckin -gone-, they don't know where he is, and there's nothing they can do to find him. Not everyone is a Dio who sends his minions nonstop until you beat them, most just try and hide away- until they trip up and reveal themselves, its better to just live your life, and that's where the best arcs come from.

Also seeing how overly large his pompadour is in the drawing makes me wish that in every different scene Josuke's pompadour would get very slowly but progressively larger.

I see it the other way, the new darker tone I feel helps to emphasize Josuke's golden spirit, as he walks out of the sun the light shines outwards from him on to the rest of Morioh and it's residents, spreading his spirit to others.

Still reading through Part 6, just got through Bohemian Rhapsody ("Where the fuck is Mickey? If there's no Mickey, this shit ain't Disney!") and Heavy Weather ("What the hell is going on with these snails?!")
This might have set a new bar for "what the fuck" in JJBA for me.
Although the stands aren't quite as good as part 5 I think I like this part more because of the underlying characters and story.

Also that she was 50 in BT while Joseph is 69 in SDC and 79 in DIU.

I think it's because the stand powers in part 6 are way more abstract than previous parts

That's true, Part 5 still had mostly punchghosts. Six has abstract ideas like Burning Down The House, Under World, Survivor, and Highway to Hell, plus weird independent ones like Dragon's Dream and Yo-Yo Ma.
Also interesting that the concept of a stand that shrinks its opponents (like Little Feet) returns not once but twice (Goo Goo Dolls, Green Green Grass of Home).
Oh yeah: the [I]Memento[/I]-esque arc was really fun too.

First off my SAS figures came. These are my first ones and they are so great, really cool detail (the picture does not do it justice) and poseabaility, with a ton of alternate hands and such. Avdol and Kakyoin are also in the mail, I am probably going to spend an embarrassing amount of money on getting more.
