Is it just me or does a lot of the dubbed audio feel... rushed?
As in that the pacing is way too fast?
Sometimes it felt like they were hastily pushing out a sentence to get to the next line in time. Probably has to do with all the unnecessary words they tried jamming in.

Listening to the new OP hundreds of times, I kept hearing "heat the key" at 25 seconds in the Japanese version. I'm a little disappointed that it isn't the same in English

speedwagon is honestly the best part of the dub. the actor is perfect for the role. makes me even more happy that he's [sp]present through the entire season[/sp]

Dubbing is typically pretty oddly paced (unless they retime the animation) because they not only have to translate the language but they also have to get it to hit a similar length of speech and mouth-flaps. JJBA is also pretty wordy so sometimes the dialogue flows awkwardly because of that too.
I think it's mostly that the dub just didn't have a very good voice director, I almost exclusively watch dubs and several shows and movies I can hardly tell that it wasn't animated for English. I'll probably end up watching JoJo subbed once I finish watching Part 2.

I think they actually did a pretty good job of translating some of the more weird untranslatable parts in BT.

It's funny that they leave stuff like "happy joy-py" and "muda muda!" untranslated in the manga, though. And I do think MUDA is a much better battle cry than [URL="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzMfMH-ArnA"]USELESS[/URL].

Aw yeah, my purple suit came in the mail today! It still needs to be hemmed but my Kira outfit is just about complete.
The wig I ordered also came in but I need to thin it out or something because it's really bulky. It looks more like Koichi's big hair than Kira's tighter 'do. (I could be Kosaku since I have black hair but then I don't have David Bowie to fall back on)

When I was in Japan I was genuinely surprised by the random JoJo related stuff I found around, at least 3 or so times in a week I'd see a reference to jotaro on TV while browsing through the 5 channels that the hotel provided it was weird.

The ep on crunchyroll is named "July 15th (Thurs), Part 1", I would not be surprised if that was the case.
