Well the last three chapters of Diamond is Unbreakable were at the beginning of [URL="http://jojo.wikia.com/wiki/Volume_47"]the first volume[/URL] of Vento Aureo.
Wouldn't be surprised if they announce something at the end of part 4 since Jojo will be 30 years old next year.
Also they don't have much reason not to animate VA
you know, I never really thought of it this way, but the July 15 thing they're doing feels like a 'last hurrah' for DiU for the last things before the end
like, I didn't even know that Cheap Trick and the Hayato/Kira arc were on the same day as Superfly/Enigma, it felt like just another few arcs to me
but with the four arcs taking place at the same time, and a bunch of characters showing up and contributing, it feels like a final sort of big event to help cap off DiU right before the end

Just caught up with the anime
I don't think I can watch JoJo with my cat in the room anymore, because whenever Stray Cat would meow, my cat would also start meowing and begging for attention.
He really doesn't like me watching the "cat" on TV.
something that feels missing from the anime, for me, is the harsher language used in the manga
I get that they have to tone it down for television, but a critical part (for me) of jojo is all of the panels of characters screaming WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON
the feeling's gonna get worse by Part 5, where fuckwords are thrown around all of the time

the dialogue is the same, it's just that the translation is different
Crunchy tend to avoid swear words in their translations but the ones that have a lot of swearing tend to be very liberal translations because of how swearing works in japanese
just got started on [sp]king crimson vs. metallica[/sp]. been very anxious to get to this part for a while now. like the title is so badass.

just finished reading part 5 last night. everything leading up to the ending was crazy and confusing as fuck [sp]especially the whole silver chariot spirit swapping thing[/sp] and the piss poor scans and mediocre translation didn't help either. still really enjoyed it though. probably my second or third favorite part so far.

man what a great episode, the three-arcs-in-one thing works really well and the animation was wonderful this episode, the first half had some really nice movement and the second half nailed enigma's visuals
hell, we even got one of those cool transitions again that stopped happening after the lock episode or so
i thought there were some pretty bad quality issues in the tower of gray part but the rest of the episode looked brilliant. and the three-arcs-in-one thing does work surprisingly well.

the only quality issue in this episode's superfly section was okuyasu looking weird but that might've been on purpose, i didn't notice anything else looking weird unless you count long-distance shots but those always look bad in anime

Really liking Part 4 so far. Watching all the different connections to the previous parts slowly show up is really neat, especially considering how outside of Jotaro, it seemed really detached at first.
Some of the name changes in this really hurt to watch though. It's pretty easy to tell what they're supposed to be, so trying to read some of the mangled names in the subs is a little painful, especially since some of the main character's Stands even have different names in the Subs.

The only name changes that really bothered me in Part 4 were "Show Off" and Tonio "Trendy".
