I just don't understand why names like "Echoes", and "Surface" have to be changed.
I mean, yes, they're references to music, but they're also common English words.

There's one introduced in the latest episode that got me scratching my head- sad, but I guess they don't want to take any chances
Eh, I guess we can only hope that once it's time for Viz to sub them for the Western BDs, they can work out something better. Same with their manga re-printings.
It's kinda hard to think of actually watching episodes when without a membership i'll have to wait a week and by then everyone already has talked about it and most of the important scenes pop up on Youtube
I know some of the events already from the Mango, but it still kinda leaves me without feeling like actually getting on it

I use kissanime. It forces you to turn adblock off and the ads can be annoying, but episodes are usually uploaded like an hour after they premier
Would we get banned for mentioning sites where you can download episodes?

Streaming sites are ambiguous and I [I]think[/I] you don't get banned for mentioning them, but if you go "you can get episodes from [torrenting site]" you'll get banned.

iirc in Stardust Crusaders it was established that if the user can't see something, their stand can't see it either and as such can't be used as an extension
however, in DiU [sp] Koichi uses Reverb (is this the actual name? this is what CR says in their subs but i'm not inclined to believe them) to leave the house and use a payphone despite not being in direct sight of Koichi [/sp]

If SC establishes that then it throws it completely out the window in that same part when Kakyoin and Polnareff use their stands to [sp]Shrink to microscopic size and infiltrate people affected by Steely Dan's Lovers[/sp]
I would say that if a user is looking at something in front of them and can't see it, their stand can't see it either. Stand Users can, however, see whatever their stand sees, making long range stands effective scouts.

i have a 48-hour guest pass if you want to see next week's episode on time, though i'd just recommend subscribing to crunchy for the last 2 months jojo is airing, it wont cost much if you cancel it after the last episode of part 4

I just figured some stands can be seen through, some stands can't:
Star Platinum can (seeing the fly).
Crazy Diamond can (using binoculars vs Ratt).
Echoes can (seeing the payphone, and seeing Kira walk away from the shoe shop).
A lot of enemy stands can (Hanged Man and RHCP for example.)
Silver Chariot can't (fight vs Devo).
Geb probably can't (it has no eyes, neither does N'Doul).
Highway star probably can't.

How are they considered garbage outside of the name changes?
I've only noticed maybe one or two grammar/spelling errors throughout the whole series so far.
It does sort of piss me off that they can't be bothered to Sub any songs after Parts 1 and 2 whatsoever.

Also remember that Star Platinum was able to see and draw the fly in the picture of DIO when Jotaro couldn't see it.

The difference between the crunchy and manga dialogue is that crunchy translations are very literal while the manga translations change things up to make it flow better with the English language, localizing it if you will

Yeah, but they do kinda disregard that element of Star Platinum's abilities pretty quickly.

SP's good vision does get some more play outside of the fly though, Jotaro uses him to spot N'doul in the desert as well

His eyesight and precision were mentioned several times throughout what I've seen of Part 4 so far, as well.
He even uses it to see the boat Joseph is on right before the Red Hot Chili Pepper fight.
since Part 4 is winding down, it's time to make a list of things that I can't wait to see animated for Part 5
