The place where I went to the party belongs to one of my aunts. It's a Buffet for kids parties basically. So yeah technically she owns a Heritage for the future arcade machine.
Don't even talk to me unless you're wearing this.
Wouldn't that shirt smell like farts as soon as you get it?
oh my god reading part 6 and just got to [sp]highway to hell[/sp] HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Having Part 5 be animated is going to be great for a lot of the battle scenes, considering how messy and/or hard to read for some of them. I'm personally excited for it eventually coming. Also we get to see Bruno, one of the best, respectful characters of Jojo(no bias here).
Gotta love how the TVtropes page specifically for Stardust Crusaders spoils what I assume is a kinda big thing in part 6 (at "Foreshadowing") out of fucking nowhere, for no reason. Sweet
I hope it doesn't spoil his fucking dope pants
Gotta love how the TVtropes page specifically for Stardust Crusaders spoils (part 6) [sp]whatever happens to Jotaro[/sp] out of fucking nowhere, for no reason. Sweet
And you're not even linking to a page or anything
Kira is the only good part of part 4 imo. Glad bite the dust is finally panning out. Hope it ends in a part 5 teaser.

The cast is also great and they even managed to make Jotaro better than in Part 3 even though he was the main Jojo in that one.
I just have a hard time not questioning things every single time Crazy Diamond/The Hand isn't used in a logical way. I know Araki struggles with consistency but part 4 is particularly bad with it.
part 4 is the best part though, with 7 either tied or a close second

It's easy to brush stuff away when you aren't in a life threatening situation.
part 4 is the best part though, with 7 either tied or a close second
1) You aren't praising Steel Ball Run enough, it's the napkin of JoJo. 2) I prefer Battle Tendency and JoJolion to Diamond is Unbreakable. Part 4 is still really good with only major gripe being the various inconsistences and underuse of every character not named Josuke, Jotaro, Koichi or Kira (and Hayato).
The cast is also great and they even managed to make Jotaro better than in Part 3 even though he was the main Jojo in that one.
the opinion I've held since I read Part 4 (and Part 6) is that Jotaro works the absolute best when he's a supporting character, not the main character like, Part 3 is my least favorite part (doesn't mean I don't like it, though) in no small part due to the personalities for most of the characters, particularly Jotaro. He's just boring as a main character to me. switch to Part 4, and he's an absolute delight. Some of the best moments in Part 4 are Jotaro moments, particularly the ass end of Sheer Heart Attack

It's possibly my favorite part of Part 8, I could read an entire part of the two chucklefucks punking rock people and fucking around

It's possibly my favorite part of Part 8, I could read an entire part of the two chucklefucks punking rock people and fucking around
the reason those chapters really worked is because these characters are quickly established and likable, their motivations are clear and relatable, their goal is risky, but we want to see them succeed also in those chapters the threat is very clear and extremely dangerous, and when you add to that how much we want to see the characters succeed, the tension really helps suck you in for me, the normal chapters of JJL are just kind of things happening, i dont really care much about the characters and the threat is too vague, which i know is a part of it since it's focused on mystery, but that's why it doesnt do much for me plus [sp]kira and josefumi's chapters have multiple rock people after them at the same time, which actually feels like they're in danger, while JJL does the standard "just one enemy at a time" formula, which feels like those are just another stand fight to stop the characters from progressing for a couple chapters[/sp]
I've been watching more of the Part 2 anime to pass the time, it's been a while since I read the manga so it's fun to revisit it again. Some spoilery thoughts: [sp]- To be frank I never really liked Caesar that much as a character and didn't really buy him and Joseph as friends. I didn't like him much better in the anime, but I have to say the episode with his death was done REALLY well. The music, pacing, and voice acting really paid off for the emotional finale, and it works well with foreshadowing how Waamu and Kars fight with (or without!) honor. - I forgot how briefly the headband featured. Joseph wearing the headband is almost his signature Part 2 look, but he really only has it for a couple episodes before burning it. - Two thoughts on Lisa Lisa: First, I keep forgetting that people think she's only in her 20s and therefore about the same age as Joseph and Caesar (and that's why Joseph is so flippant with her). I remember that she looks younger than she is but I always assume people think she's upper 20s/early 30s, maybe it's just that she carries herself in a more mature way? Also it annoys me how quickly she jobs to Kars - in any of the brief fights she gets in we see that she's incredibly skilled and competent, so it's disappointing that she only gets one attack in before getting laid out. I've heard rumors that Araki's hand was forced to cut it short to focus on the shonen protagonist but I don't know if that's true.[/sp] Anyways this is still a really fun part. I remember thinking "woah this is a CUHRAZY RIDE!!!" the first time I read it but after all the stando power the ripple and pillar men almost feel simple and quaint in comparison.

[sp] Man, I'm so fucking excited for friday. I haven't read the manga but I can already tell that the only way they are gonna counter Bites the Dust is using Star Platinum time stop. Even on he's section on the Version 2 of the intro he's the only one that can move forward. [/sp]

Finally sat down and binged Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency, my god what a ride. I was basically screaming during the [sp] Karz fight, I don't like fates worse than death but by god it was deserving [/sp]

Restoring Kira's corpse by his severed hand brings his hand to Kira's body Shit like this is everywhere in part 4. I have a really hard time excusing it when its already happened the other way in the same part. Other than that I dont find Koichi that compelling, and he's the main character of pretty much half of the part.
