I don't mind slice of life in between segments tbh either, I was just worried that instead of Slice of life between battles that 3 has it would be battles between slice of life segments if that makes sense.

part 4 has a much better balance of fighting and slice of life stuff, it's still focused on the fights but has enough stuff in between to keep it from getting boring, plus an episode like Tonio's is a nice change of pace every now and then
I hear a lot about how bad Killer Queen's first anime appearance was, but I never really thought about it since I hadn't read the manga at that point (only started reading when I ran out of episodes). Also I think I watched a fixed version. What did he look like originally?

It did improve overtime though.
I also prefer the way he's standing in the anime in that shot. The way he's spreading his thighs in the manga looks kind of odd.

That ep was fucking great, even kitty looked way better than normal.
[sp]Hey, Battle tendency started rather slow and was annoying at the beginning (Joseph especially which breaks with the noble, courageous Jonathan) but it get really better at the introduction of the Pillar men and Caesar zeppeli (and Joseph really get better.). Speedwagon didn't die and died (kind of) peacefully tought, and i'm happy of this, i liked this secondary character even if he was useless.
Now that i'm in the middle of Stardust crusader, i have to say, Old joseph IS the best freaking character! HE IS EVEN VOICED BY THE ONE WHO VOICED GINZO NAKAMORI IN DETECTIVE CONAN/KAITO KID! amazing! [/sp]

Killer Queen looked amazing in this episode, hot damn.

the anime makes it seem more ridiculous than the manga
[sp]in the manga his pieces have barely started breaking apart when josuke starts fixing him, which is a lot more believable[/sp]

Josuke [sp]dodged an attack by repairing the debris in his arm, Hayato willingly blew himself up so Josuke can reach Okuyasu and Kira just shoved a cat/plant into his stand's torso. Logic has left the building and has been gone for weeks.[/sp] And you're still wondering why the characters aren't thinking like normal people
