There were heeeella QUALITY issues in this week's episode, though. There was a shot where Rohan had a huge head he looked like an alien.

Least favorite episode of the anime for P4, and I hated the arc in the manga as well, which kinda makes me glad DP decided to outsource it, means the next two episodes will have considerably better art.

Rohan didnt talk shit to Joseph about how his manga isnt available in English

Boy Man Man is actually kinda clever when you think about it. Also the part where it just explicitly says "Boy II Man" in the book.

I liked the episode and arc because it was a great show of Rohan's colossal assholery. Plus him nailing Ken in the face and the super saiyan flying around shit while playing RPS is fuckin great. Classic Araki shit.

rohan is one of my favorites purely because he's such an asshole to people who aren't koichi his relationship with josuke especially is just fantastic

Was last night's episode satire of Shonen-Jump esque mange and anime? The way they mention Shonen-Jump and be ridiculous and campy with a simple game?

The way I see it is that anything that could be interpreted as satire in jojo is actually played completely straight and sincere

All i know is that the jumps had something to do with using Stands to propel themselves upward, but that's about it

The OVA final fight of SDC is way better adaptation imo.

The OVA takes more liberty in adapting the source material which is arguably the better way to approach things when you adapt something to a different medium. I also really like how the OVA uses silence a lot to build tension whereas the new anime is very loud all the time with blaring wub-music and wooshing sound effects. One of the best examples of this is whenever Dio stops time in the OVA and everything just goes silent, there's no music and both Dio's footsteps and voice are muffled. Just creates a more meanicing tone.

The only thing i dislike in the OVA is Dio's voice really Sounds more like an old man than anything
