I read part 4 like 3 years ago and forgot a lot of what happened so I gotta say watching the anime was cool and felt like a new enough experience, i forgot certain details like [sp] i forgot how brutal kira getting killed by the ambulance was, I just remember it as the ambulance speeding on the street and hitting him head on at a high speed, actually fucking winced when it backed over his head like that [/sp]

I hope they used the VA from ASB and EOH for Diavolo in the animated adaptation. I just love that eccentric saturday-morning cartoon villain voice he has.

So I got the Jotaro SAS from a friend for Christmas, and it's kind of fucking amazing. It's really well made and I've already got it in a neat pose on my shelf. The problem here is that they also got me the Star Platinum SAS and it's kind of shit. Like, literally. I opened it up from this sort of roughed up, much cheaper feeling packaging, and as soon as I opened it I got hit with this nasty fucking cheap plastic/paint smell. It's got these paint scuffs all along the arms and legs, and as soon as I went to move the toe joint, it literally fucking disintegrated. Like, it didn't even snap off or anything, it just sort of disintegrated off of the foot. That's the best way I can describe it. The way it was packed was also highly suspect. The Jotaro figure came in fucking excellent packaging, beautiful box, everything sealed tight, I really couldn't be happier with that figure. The Star Platinum had all the booklets floating around, there was this weird tape over the top of the box, which Jotaro didn't have, and the clear stand was taped to the inside of the box. Mind you that both were purchased from Amazon, and the Star Platinum had great reviews. Anyone know what the fuck could've happened? The Jotaro figure is probably one of the best figurines I've gotten in years, and yet the SP one feels like I almost got some sort of bootleg. I'll try and get some pictures up ASAP. [/QUOTE] Kinda just seems like you got someone's old used SAS, honestly. The disintegrated Toe is because Green SP is from some of the very first made SAS figures for the show, so the quality varies from figure to figure. Kind of just seems like an unfortunate situation where you likely got a repackaged figure. I reccomend either repurchasing a green one, or getting the ever popular "Blueberry Poptart" version of SP from Part 4! I have a Part 4 Jotaro and SP, and they're both very very high quality. Gonna start playing EoH, but first how much do I need to know about part 8? I haven't begun to read it yet, and I'm wondering if I should do that before playing EoH.

While he was really good in the adaptation, I feel like I like his game VA a bit better though. All I want now is Pucchi to retain his ASB/EoH voice.

Pucci's ASB voice is Vanilla Ice, so if they're sticking with game VAs we're going to get Jouji for Part 6 which I hope they don't because I dont like him at all in EoH

Speaking of it I just recently realized that Tomokazu Sugita (Young Joseph's VA) is also the the voice of Ragna the Bloodege from Blazblue. Honestly, this just made the character 10x better for me.

Friend's cool. He's helping me with the SP figure since he has no fucking clue what happened with it either. The Jotaro figure is super nice though. It's almost addicting putting it in different poses.

Gonna introduce my friend to Jojo on new year. We gonna start with Phantom Blood and go all the way from there. He's a bit tacky about watching it but I think he will like it.

I don't think i would be introducing Jojo to my cousins anytime soon. They're all about Naruto for now. :what:
