woah man Steel Ball Run just got [I]super[/I] nuts [sp]Sometimes I forget that JJBA has a lot of horror in it, but Civil War sure reminded me. The twist of killing someone to 'purify' and pass on 'sins' was really neat in the fight. I really like Johnny's new ability (dividing his body parts down the infinite nail holes). I only wish that Tusk was a little more involved, as it stands it almost seems like his Stand shouldn't have a punchghost form (like Khnum) since it just kind of floats around nearby. I still don't REALLY get what's going on with Mormon Jesus but it is... interesting to say the least. I can only imagine how shocked I'd be if I didn't already know about that reveal. The stuff with Lucy is... weird and uncomfortable in a really creepy way - not like GOOD creepy like horror writing, it feels awkward and dirty to read (especially since she's fourteen and crying all the time). Especially the head, what the fuck. Any goodwill the story gained by revealing that her and Steel aren't REALLY married was almost immediately burned off. I miss the sassy hardass chicks from Part 6. Also I finally got the first glimpse of D4C!! I have an approximate idea of what it because of inferring what I've seen so far (and also memes) but I'm interested to see what other dimension-shifting fun times will occur. RIP fatty Valentine. I still have >700 pages to go but I feel like the story is starting to ramp up to a conclusion (the titular Run is almost over) and I'm excited to see where it goes from here![/sp]

Even if they have an appearance they are mostly bolstering the user's own abilities in some way rather than doing the fighting themselves. We can talk about this more when you're finished[/sp]

A bit disappointing to see the color scans just drop off, but I'm really enjoying Part 5 a lot right now. It's nice to see that they're apparently almost done, so I'm hoping that last bit will be finished by the time I reach the end.

Every other part at least has competent scanlations, Part 5's the sole incomplete on in that aspect.

Every single anime dubs in english i've watched are simply lame and suck at being faithful to the original voice and honestly? they suck! The one piece french dubs successfully managed to be very close to the original imo - Luffy, for example, sound really close to his japanese voice. But then again there are some reaally terrible one so idk, maybe one piece is a one of a kind. I legitimately don't like it. Also some scene are really longer than they are supposed likes speedwagon talking I don't feel any emotion from speedwagon- i don't feel his surprise. I feel both too much emotion and not any emotion from dio- his rage, his hate against jonathan, his feelings of power. He don't wake me up- he bores me. useless sound so weird. or maybe its simply me being french idk also, i've finished watching the whole anime, and i have to say it's AMAZING! Yoshikage Kira is AMAZING! fuck hayato tought, i would love to see what would happens with kira burgeoning affection for his mother! I LOVED rohan kishibe and his crazyness! I LOVED joseph joestar in part 3 and 4 he was even more better than his part 2 self! i wish there were more reference to the stone mask tought and jonathan joestar :/ Now i have one question: Is shizuka joestar a character in the next part? i think i'm going to read the manga

Anyone know what the announcer in Heritage for the Future says at the start of a match right before "fight"? I'm listening to it over and over but the Engrish is too strong.

Considering picking up some of the Japanese releases of the Manga. Looking at Part 4 specifically right now. They're pretty cheap brand new, and I love having physical stuff, especially of Araki's cover artwork. It's more about appreciating and having the artwork to display, since I love a lot of the covers. Also they could come in handy should I ever actually apply myself and learn Japanese like I've meant to for a while now.

Honestly I'm disappointed that they're opting to not use accents in the upcoming SC dub. Sure stuff like Caesar's accent was a little over the top but I like the fun it adds to characters. I wish we could have a "HON HON HON" Frenchie Polnareff.

Yeah i believe those over the top accents made up for the lack of Japanese weirdness and engrish, the dub is good but feels more generic now
