I might catch shit for this but part 4's style is my least favorite
I think all the insane linework is what makes Jojo really unqiue and softening up all the characters and making them look a lot younger reduced a lot of the charm for me
don't get me wrong obvs Jojo IV is still great as anything but I feel like this is the first part where watching the anime over the manga was a msitake
Although I like the music and voice acting a lot. So I unno.

Kinda surprised at how quickly I'm moving through Part 5. Really been enjoying it so far.
Only thing that seemed a little odd is how it feels like a few of the fights dragged on for a little longer than necessary, but maybe that's only because sometimes I'll stop reading for the day half way through a fight.
I know they're really minor stands but i really like surface and the lock.I wish they got a bit more focus along with their users.
I'd still like Araki to make good on what he's said about wanting to return to Morioh and tell more of Part 4's other stories and mysteries.

There's the Rohan side-stories as well as Dead Man's Questions. DMQ takes place after Part 4, but the Rohan side-stories aren't really set in the same continuity.

It's probably the only time I've ever seen someone try to recreate the same sort of vibe that JoJo gives off, and hit the nail on the head.
Also the whole thing with it being possible to shorten her name to JoJo makes me think that maybe Araki was considering it at a point. I'd really love to see it to be honest.

It's really throwing me for a loop how Jojolion is set in modern times (sure 6 was set in 2011 but it was written back at the turn of the millennium). It feels wrong somehow, seeing JoJo characters with smartphones.
