One thing I don't understand on that mod is that every lines it uses is from the arcade game, but the MUDA MUDA is from the anime. It's nitpicking, sure, but it feels weird to me.

The costumes are definitely the big nitpick for me. Peoples outfits are a huge part of the jojo look, how can you not get them right? It just looks like they're trying to skip over anything.... bizarre.

It just looks like they're trying to skip over anything.... bizarre.[/QUOTE] They're in an awkward position where you want to hit that middle ground between taking liberties to make it more sensible for a person to wear and looking like a brightly coloured cosplayer, but you can only lose so much accuracy before it stops being proper Jojo. I think they did an alright job considering what they have to work with. Part 5 would be the fun one to see them try to adapt.

I think Fugo looks really damn good if he actually wore a shirt under his hole-jackets.(I think that's his costume in Purple Haze novel?) I wouldn't mind them adjusting the costumes in Part 5 to make a little bit more sense in Live-Action. I'm not really the guy that's very uptight on how "faithful" an adaptation is

As someone whose newly interested in watching the anime adaptation of this, where the hell do I start? Is Crunchyroll the only place I can watch it reliably? I've also seen bits and pieces of an English dubbed version that is supposedly spot on with the voices, but I can't seem to find much more information on that. Something about there being a test dub, and then something about entire seasons being dubbed officially. I dunno.

Only reason I bothered to ask at all was because I became cautiously optimistic about the english dub being good after hearing the [URL="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdkQ4buzMa4"]test dub[/URL], which imo sounded pretty good to me. To me the VA for Joseph sounds pretty close to the Japanese VA. Then again I haven't much in the way of judgement between dubs and subs so take that opinion as you will (And please tell me I'm crazy fucking wrong if that is the case.) Though at this point it appears the test dub never did take off and whatever english dub is out there right now probably isn't what I expected. Either way thanks for the tip guys. Also humorously enough, the English VA for Jotaro sounds almost 100% like McCree and I couldn't unhear it.
