Same voice actor. The dub loses a lot of its crazy charm it has in japanese and Joseph is probably best voice they've got for it.

Listen, when it comes to dubs the JoJo one is probably one of the better ones (they actually bother with accents for one), but it pales in comparison to the original japanese one.
And this is from a baka gaijin who ends up going for dubs on shit (admittedly said stuff being Cowboy Bebop and also from my Toonami watching childhood), but the japanese VO is oozing charm.

I can't imagine any English dub being good enough to replace the likes of ZA WARUDO, OH MY GOD, and rerorerorerorerorerorero.

I'm on pins and needles when the new Jojoniums come out because now we're in part 3 where names start to get pretty copyrighted. So far things are a bit of a mixed bag - the big one is that Jean-Pierre gets to be Polnareff - but there are some of the old familiar changes like Santviento, Enyaba, Soul Sacrifice, and Centerfold.
But I swear if I don't get Oingo and Boingo...

Picked up the latest JoJonium release, and yeah, they use Soul Sacrifice.
That one never bothered me that much, especially since Araki specified it, but dear god I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some of the dumber ones now.

If it's the Viz translation they use, then I can guarantee that Zenyatta Mondatta will be in it. I have the Viz translation of the DIO's World volumes and at the end when they show the map of Egypt with all of the Stand users Jotaro and co. fought, they used those names for Oingo and Boingo.
Because I don't have the actual volume(s) that have the Oingo Boingo (or the Hol Horse and Boingo) chapters in it, I don't know if they actually bothered to edit Oingo's shirt, or Thoth.

The translations have actually been entirely re-done, and the printing is the completely uncensored original print, rather than the edited version Viz originally released, so there's room for improvement.
Just finished reading part 5.
I loved it. It was awesome even though I had to slog through the garbage Ignition One scans for a few chapters. The ending was a bit meh though.
