Why does everyone always talk about [sp]36 Kars on Mars[/sp] but nobody ever mentions Funny Valentine, [sp]Funnier Valentine and Funniest Valentine[/sp]?

or how[sp]OG Perfect Kars (Who's a good guy now) convinces Killer Queen to leave Kira to become his stand, uses Bites the Dust to reset MiH's acceleration, and returns everything back to "J-universe".[/sp]Oh yeah,[sp]he also gets MiH Requiem too or something by doing so.[/sp]:what:
Jorge Joestar is some kind of fever dream.
So if I wanted to read Jorge Joestar, how far should I be in the manga? I've read everything from parts 1-6, would I be able to read it without getting spoiled on things from 7 or 8?
Where can I read Jorge? Last I heard it was only avaliable on japanese.

It was released right after part 8 started so there's nothing to spoil there, but you should probably finish SBR first.

you should pretty much be completely finished with Part 7 in order for no spoilerinos
Holy fuck, I've read just 74 pages and I'm already in awe, [SP]pararel Jojo (not really Jojo) and FUCKING KIRA YOSHIKAGE?!?![/SP] :freakout:
I have drawn a fetish salaryman
So after two years I decided to finish the egypt arc of Stardust Crusaders now that there is enough Jojo for me to binge watch and I must say, the buildup and that ending for the Bastet fight made me fall in love again with this series. Hope it keeps up this quality throughout the rest.

Also the episode after that is something special, holy fuck
on the same note, it's difficult not to commend a series that can make a fucking game of poker as intense as in the d'arby arc

if you liked that, you should check out the Kaiji anime, it's very similar to the d'arby arc, with high tension gambling
i dont even like poker
I only know how to play poker because of Poker Night at the Inventory
I only know how to play poker because of Poker Night at the Inventory
You had to learn how to play in order to get those sweet, sweet TF2 hats.

Or the original Yu-Gi-Oh manga before everything starts being about the trading cards. It's pretty much the D'arby arc made into a whole series.

oh man this.
When I was 12 I bought the first 3 volumes of Yu-Gi-Oh for super cheap because I found em at a yard sale.
I didn't even have the intention of reading them all, yet I ended up reading and loving all 3 of them.
Yugi basically fucks up thugs with simple tricks and psychological pressure.
Anyone know how many volumes are like this before it starts being about trading cards?
theres also season 0 of the anime if u want some anime nonsense
its the stuff they could never air in america cuz it was too graphic and violent, but its pretty rad
i can hardly wait for the animated adaptation for vento aureo
as a kid i had a huge bias towards it being my absolute favourite part given its setting, but with age i grew to love SBR above all else.
the animu made me appreciate battle tendency so much more though, so can't really get unhyped for part 5

Up until volume 7. The rest of the manga is pretty much what we got in the anime except a bit more hardcore.
[editline]23rd March 2017[/editline]
You do still get some chapters of the trading card game in those earlier volumes but it's treated as a one of game and wasn't really meant to come back until readers sent in letters.

And it was a blatant parody of Magic the Gathering back then without any of the silly stuff like the duel discs. Just Yugi and Kaiba sitting down at a table playing Magic the Gathering.
I finished Jorge Joestar, and turns out Dio was playing 37D chess all along!
[sp]seriously, Dio was the holy corpse, what the fuck. And I still don't know how to place the canon of the novel. The universe where George and Lisa Lisa returned to is the same as in the manga one with the difference that the manga didn't tell us all the stuff about George still being alive and all of the Antonio Torres invasion? Or is the whole novel a spin-off with no relation to the manga universe?[/sp]
Just found this hilarious fan comic where Dio wasn't evil, this is just one part of it.

Both Jorge Joestar and Purple Haze Feedback weren't written by Araki, so where they stand in the canon is uncertain. It's never been confirmed whether they are or not.
Though I usually see that people are fine with PHF being canon, but that JJ is too off the walls and "fanservicy" to be canon. v:v:v

Personally I think PHF should be an OVA with supervision from Araki. It's kinda bullshit that [sp]Fugo just fucks off and that never gets resolved if you don't read PHF[/sp]
