This will be interesting.
We're going to get to see how David interpret Araki's modern artstyle into animation
This actually might also be the test of how they do SBR and Jojolion's art styles, if they can pull this off then they can pull those off

I think SBR and JoJolion are going to be more difficult because of time constraints.
Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan OVA should look better then the part 4 anime because of how much more time they have on a single episode or 2.
Went by fucking Gamestop today and believe it or not they had a Josuke statue for sale. I almost got it but I'm more of an action figures guy myself - still, it's interesting to see JJBA slowly popping up in more and more places.

Apparently a lot of those statues have quality issues with the eyes for some reason.

The best part of that is how the rest of the paint job doesn't look fucked up.
It seriously just looks like he's got a crooked-ass eye.

pretty much exactly how most people would look like upon realization

I don't know why, but something looks just enough off about Jotaro for me to dislike the design.
I think it's either the unholy combination of a jontron hat to baseball cap lid, or the lack of real bulk to the actor's portrayal (I mean even both the anime and the manga's various designs, he's still had a good amount of muscle to make you think "ye that's Jotaro, you don't want to mess with him").

Honestly I don't hate the live action designs, the actor they got for Jotaro isn't super buff but I can't imagine there are many 7ft tall body builders in Japans film industry.
It all comes down to how terrible the cgi stands look.

dunno how many 195cm muscle men live in japan who are also actors, plus he looks really slim in part 4 considering the art style change from 3 to 4
In May of last year, I started reading Jojo part 1 on my breaks at work, and now, today, I just got all the way caught up to where part 8 is.
What do I read next? Dead Man's Questions? Rohan at the Louvre? Jorge Joestar? Duwang?
Duwang or bust.
[editline]30th March 2017[/editline]
For real though, probably any of the spinoffs in any order is fine. Release order maybe being the most desirable.
you got your options
I'd say DMQ, then Rohan one-shots, then buckle down and start digging into Purple Haze Feedback and then Jorge Joestar. But it doesn't really matter what order.

I can vouch for the Rohan one shots, they're pretty fun reads. The real Jojo fan buys the art books too. Support that boy Araki.
The REAL fans have read Gorgeous Irene. :smug:

Nah, I think it all comes down to how well Miike can work the staging. Jojo's got ambiguous spacial awareness that works for manga (and less so for animation) but for film there's shit you just can't fake/ cheat the way Araki does.
do you guys remember the name of that fan manga or whatever where Jonathan Joestar becomes the vampire and not DIO?
The REAL fans have read Gorgeous Irene. :smug:
The really REAL real fans have seen the lost Phantom Blood movie and every live Jojo Interpretive Dance Performance. :smug:
The final chapter of the comedy AU Part 1 has been released:

For a comedy parody AU though, the ending is heartwarming actually.
