Still no theme tune! :(
Oh shit. That's pretty awesome.

Well that was, fine. I'm not a fan of the quicker pace and it dose feel as though a lot was crammed in and the animation was stiff but it was fine overall.
The environmental stuff and machinery look brilliant. The characters on the other hand, look very rushed. Lipsync is terrible. Also the "5,4,3,2,1" is going to get very annoying if they do it for every launch. Also, why is Brains now of indian origin? He was born in Michigan.
I only noticed shoddy lipsynch on Parker. He just opened his mouth up and down. Then again, you could argue that that's an homage to the original series. Gonna have to get used to that quicker pace though. Hope there are some slower episodes; and I'm looking forward to the Trapped in the Sky remake. Interesting fact: that's the first time in Thunderbirds' history that The Hood's name has been mentioned on screen!
Feel that the pacing may be an issue as they where trying to force so much into one episode. Time will tell. Shame they aren't showing it on ITV1 again, I quite liked it a that time slot.
Episode titles for the rest of the run: 1: Ring of Fire (Part One) 2: Ring of Fire (Part Two) 3: Space Race 4: Cross Cut 5: Fireflash 6: Unplugged 7. Runaway 8. EOS 9. Slingshot 10. Skyhook 11. Under Pressure 12. Heavy Metal 13. Tunnels of Time Reggie and Thunderbirds: No Strings Attached had quite a bit of footage from Space Race. I felt like the pacing in Ring of Fire was partly due it being a pilot, and because it tried to fit so much in. Other than that I thought it was pretty good. At least it isn't getting screwed over like New Captain Scarlet.
Preview of the next episode, Fireflash: [sp]That music in the coming soon clip sounds familiar...[/sp]
Watching Ep 4. The The rabid anti-nuclearism is offputting.
Really looking forward to Fireflash. That music in the coming soon clip gave me goosebumps.

Just watched Unplugged. That was awful.
Depending on how you count the pilot, today's episode means Thunderbird 3 is either tied with or has more appearances in this series than the original. Though after next week's it'll have more regardless of how you count the pilot. Next week's episode also features the mining set from the Introducing the World video.
