Amell talked about how the end goal of Arrow is to have Oliver be the wise-cracking guy he is in the comics, and we might be getting closer to that as Season 4 draws near.
Don't remember his exact words but he said how Oliver would go through a metamorphosis and he didn't think anyone would come out of that island cracking jokes, it would take some time for that to happen.
If anything, Oliver is closer and closer to being called Green Arrow.

Good, because right now from what I've watched(S1 to S3EP1) he's a Batman wannabe.
I just watched the first season of Arrow and is it me or is Laurel annoying as shit?
[sp]Specially about Tommy and Oliver. It goes like " I LOVE YOU TOMMY!, NO WAIT I LOVE YOU OLIVER" and almost every scene with her is showing her crying.[/sp]
It doesn't get better.
Man, that was was one lame-ass [sp]Oliver return, and a lame way to keep Brick alive. It was nice seeing a bit of Malcolm tbh, but he should've killed Brick. Oliver also returned way too soon.[/sp]
I hope Arrow has some spaghetti moments in the near future, The Flash seems to be the better show in that regard currently.

I love Laurel. She was completely unentertaining to watch, her life sucks, people keep dying or getting fucked up around her.
This part is spoilers for you, but I'm going to lay it out just to let the other guys know what I'm specifically talking about.
[sp]Oliver and her sister run away together and then die in a storm, then Oliver returns, but with no sister, then she gets together with Tommy, then Tommy dies right before her fucking eyes, then Sara returns and fucking dies before her fucking eyes too, her father has heart problems, she can't even tell him about it all.[/sp] She's also a former addict, too.
Her character development was a struggle, for her and for the viewers. Oliver had his crucible of five years abroad, Laurel's crucible was being Laurel for twenty more.
She is going to make a great [sp]Black Canary, mostly because she is still in training. She has some self-defence experience, plus the OG vigilante of Starling is teaching her how to be better. Laurel isn't an infallible super-master fighter, she gets beaten and makes mistakes, although they did go overboard with her moves in the recent fight scene. She is going to develop herself to get better.[/sp]
I can't believe I'm defending Laurel.

That was the best episode of Arrow in a while [sp]So glad that they tied up so many lingering storylines. Also holy shit I'm excited for more Slade.[/sp]

[sp]How come the police never questioned Dr. Wells after the ending of S01E02 when he killed the guy who was hoping he could use the Flash in the future? Also, if Eddie is the only character who could've possibly killed Nora then why hasn't he appeared since the mid-season finale for at least a good 10 minutes? I reckon Dr. Wells 'did something' with his blood sample, also Tess Morgan was probably killed by one of Barry's parents unintentionally in a car accident.[/sp]

Arrow is on S3, Flash is S1. Probably Netflix doesn't have it brcause it's still in the showing.
Been using a different site to watch s3, almost caught up with everyone else. I guess I should start watching "The Flash" as well, it looks fun from the previews.

market research shows that cw superhero shows get the best market penetration when they contain "my name is oliver queen" in the opening
scriptwriters are currently figuring out a way to integrate that into the flash for maximum ad revenue
