This show is just getting consistently better and it's amazing
Finally caught up with the show. Holy fuck.
Aw shit, a two parter!
So, new ep was pretty decent, I like this guy playing Barry Alan.
Yeah, he's not bad. I have hopes for the Flash show.

Holy FUCK. That eye patch that flash orign that grundy that everything
It's going to be difficult waiting until Ep 20 to see Barry again.

Also, guess who's going to show up in ep. 14? William Tockman. That's right, the Clock King.

Most of these character reveals have been very well done. Season 1 was okay, but the first half of 2 has been gold.
i hope this turns into a complete justice league series :D eeee
iwanttobelieve.jpg
I doubt this is legit, imdb can be edited by anyone and that episode is still a ways off. Probably not even written yet.
DAT EPISODE.

It would still be awesome if they could do one with Batman, although I suspect he would be on the list of characters which they cannot include in the show even if they wanted to. :(
I think that the closest to Batman we'll get is Nightwing.
Man that was one fucking cool mid-season finale.
Ive recently started watching this, and as much as i like it, i cant help but notice how much it seems like they really wanted to make a Batman tv show but couldnt.

But other than that I think the show does a pretty good job at making him different from Batman in other areas. [editline]14th December 2013[/editline] Here's what Grant Gustin might look like in his Flash costume: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/DCparok.jpg[/img_thumb]
Very much hope it gets put on netflix the moment the next seasons made
Well that and half of Batmans rogues gallery is in the damn show :v:
To be fair, the Batman rogues that show up in the show are rogues that usually fight other heroes and not just Batman.
Well that and half of Batmans rogues gallery is in the damn show :v:
There's only one Arrow villain who I'd consider to be mostly a Batman villain, and that's (possible spoilers? Don't know how far you are into the show.) [sp]Firefly.[/sp] Also I just realized that the Electrocutioner is one of the people on Ollie's list. I would love to see him make an appearance on the show. Well, on the other hand there's also [sp]Ra's al Ghul.[/sp] Technically he isn't a major player. Yet.

[sp]KGBeast, but he's a friend, and Clock King.[/sp]
Deadshot?
Oh, right. Forgot that he first fought Batman.
[sp]KGBeast, but he's a friend, and Clock King.[/sp]
Eh, I wouldn't say that Clock King is exclusively a Batman villain.
Got to wait until January now. I think I read that Barry isn't going to don the Flash costume until the Flash pilot, but I at least hope the next episode, Blast Radius, has lots of him zipping about. It'd totally be cool for Batman to show up in this show as well, but Arrow is currently like Batman-lite at the moment so it probably wouldn't work out.
They said that they wouldn't do Batman because "the coolest person on Arrow has to be the Arrow." Unfortunate but completely understandable. There are also problems with the character rights and having two actors portray the live-action character at the same time, what with the upcoming Superman vs Batman film. I agree that right now Oliver's personality is maybe a little too similar to Bruce's when he's in vigilante mode. It's not something that I mind in the context of the show especially considering all the horrors he's been through, but if Amell is really planning on becoming part of the JL movies then the writers will have to lighten up his character a bit more. Having two gruff, stoic crusaders of the night on screen at the same time won't work. They could totally do that in the later seasons when the events of the island are long behind him. Maybe when Laurel becomes Black Canary she would give him a reason to joke around when they fight crime together. Or maybe in later seasons he's getting into more of the public spotlight and he has to truly become the city's savior - Diggle pulls him aside and tells him that if he wants to truly be a hero for the people then he has to stop being dark in his approach. Then he hands him a boxing glove arrow. [editline]14th December 2013[/editline] It's not something that I desperately want though. I'd be totally fine with either approach to the character given the appropriate context.
