well in the mid-season finale there wasn't a time stamp
[sp]i'm thinking it is Felicity's mom who is going to die for some odd reason. I really can't see anyone else Felicity would be that upset over, I mean she seemed more upset then Oliver. either that or Diggle[/sp]
My money is on [sp]Andy's redemption and subsequent atonement for his sins leading to his death at Darhk's hand, probably in a heroic sacrifice to save the team which is what leaves them so shattered.[/sp]
I wonder when Mirror Master is going to show up in Flash
It was really hammy but I kinda like it. I'll give it a watch.

[sp]yeah but why does barry go to the funeral of someone he doesn't even know[/sp]
[sp]Maybe in the next 4 months he gets to know everyone a lot better. I don't know if you've noticed but the writing in these isn't exactly stellar.[/sp]

I dunno, it's more of a coin flip kind of thing. Sometimes in the same episode you can go from something very clever to "who the fuck writes this crap". Usually when Designated Love Interested starts talking about anything even mildly romantic-ish.
-snip-
well I guess that's no more Patty for a lot of episodes now. [sp]The Reverse Flash 'return' was cool, but sadly it's for only one episode. I just want them to get back to hunting Zoom again.[/sp]
Anybody else think of "Bioshock: Infinite" when Cisco [sp]Started getting nosebleeds as a result of messing with the timeline?[/sp]
Welp, this is it. Today, I officially dropped Arrow.
I finally got tired by the show's played out family dynamics, overcomplicated 'secret' stuff, annoying relationship drama and frankly unnecessary island flashbacks.
I was holding onto it because it was associated with The Flash, which is one of my favorite shows. But I kinda noticed that apart from the villain (who'll be here for one season), I really don't care about anyone in that show.
So yeah. Dropping it.

The only thing you listed that's not shared with Flash are the flashbacks. And Jesse L. Martin kills it as Joe so played out family dynamics aren't that bad.
[sp]Hunter Zolomon[/sp] in the latest ep of flash, isn't that the name of Zoom in the comics
The only thing I hate on Flash is the same thing that happened in Arrow - if there is a love interest, or some people the main hero(Flash and Arrow) care about, they are the last ones on the list to find out their identity. Arrow example - literally everyone, Flash example - Iris and Patty. I get it that Flash does it because of Zoom but I still can't stand those "oh lol gotta go because reasons???" and then refuse to say that you are the Flash.

For real? There's no 'uuuugh I'm so angsty gotta keep a secret', and apart from the stupid plotline with Barry and Patty so far there has been nothing of that this season.
There's no flashbacks, the bad guys are 200% more interesting, and after Iris and Barry [sp]went their separate ways at the end of last season[/sp] there hasn't been much in the way of CWisms.
It's much more Silver Age, which is my jam. Supergirl is the perfect DC show for me in that regards.
I honestly thought that Felicity would end up being Oracle. Overwatch is a good name, too.
Though with Ollie mentioning Oracle being a taken name does raise questions. This coupled with the Harley Quinn cameo awhile back one wonders if the big 3 even exist in the Arrowverse...
EDIT: Also, regarding Legends of Tomorrow, [sp]I wonder if Damien Dhark's appearance at that arms sale[/sp] was important?
yeah I wonder if it will play a role in future episodes or even Arrow itself.
So [sp]Carter died in Legends of Tomorrow. What if they go back in time and find another Carter from another timeline? What if they kill Carter every week and they just keep finding more Carters?[/sp]

This should be a thing.

That's exactly what I am expecting to happen. :v:

[sp]"Oh my God! They killed Carter!"[/sp]

When?
When?
One of the Suicide Squad episodes, iirc they had Tara Strong voice her.
When?
It was Deadshot Season 2 episode iirc.

Ah i see. neat.
[sp]Am I the only one that thinks the grave is Thea's?[/sp]
[sp]Am I the only one that thinks the grave is Thea's?[/sp]
Doubt it, [sp]Felicity was 10 times more emotional than Oliver. Of course, Oliver is not known for being emotional, but remember the episode of fake death of Arsenal? Yeah, that's not Thea in the grave, it would have been more obvious. It may very well still be Thea for all we know, but I just kinda doubt it because it looked like it hit Felicity right in the heart more than it did for Oliver. Unless, of course, that's the whole point of him not showing that many emotions.[/sp]

Is Supergirl the same universe as Arrow? That would confirm Jor-El at least.
[editline]31st January 2016[/editline]
Also Rip Hunter references "men of steel and dark knights"
Supergirl is not in the same universe
Supergirl is not in the same universe
Which is a shame because Supergirl is currently the best DC TV show.

How can someone say that when Flash exists
How can someone say that when Flash exists
By saying 'Supergirl is currently the best DC TV show'?
The Flash is going through a sophomore slump with an atrocious Barry/Patty storyline, a main character that's just bleh, the fact that most of the first batch of episodes were used to introduce stuff for the spinoff, new characters not being given anything fun and interesting to do and Caitlyn/Garrick suffering from 'I'm just standing here' syndrome. The only fun part of the past few episodes has been Cisco and Wells, really- just consider how little attention the cool Earth-2 subplot has been getting.
Supergirl consistently delivers a fun story every week with a great cast, good wirework, great special effects (as great as a TV budget can allow), the overarching plotlines are fun and whenever there's ~relationship drama~ it's mostly relegated to one part of the cast, unlike in these shows where it seems everyone has a relationship and it sucks. This week they're doing Bizarro, next week they're doing 'For the Man Who Has Everything', it's a show that delves into the crazier sides of the Superman canon but it never feels like they're doing it 'just because it's a fan thing'.
I get it a lot of people here were immediately turned away because the pilot has a lot of stuff they might consider 'pandering to a female demographic', but it's amazing how much this show hits the same highs as the Flash. It's like watching a story that mixes Silver Age whimsy with modern sensibilities come to life.
