Has rather a lot to do with it because they took the darkest character of the 'El/Shazam family and turned her into a cheerfully milquetoast whitebread flying version of Squirrel Girl that has about as much personality as a department store greeter robot.

Are you still referring to Supergirl? Because if so, I don't think I've heard of that intrepetation of her, and there's been like a dozen or so reimaginings of her so it's hard to keep track.

We already talked about this, few posts up.
I'm almost certain that someone from the show confirmed that Supergirl is not in the same universe as Flash/Arrow.
One current theory I've seen is that Supergirl is still another universe, Barry just crosses over.

Today's flash[sp]i liked the transition to earth 2. You see Supergirl in there, as well as Green Arrow and I'm Assuming alternate flash and arrow. What were the other images?[/sp]

I kinda like Legends of Tomorrow so far, but at the same time I feel like it has a lot of problems, too. Like all the reasons for the team to not go back in time and fix their own mistakes seem really shaky. And why would Jax even agree to help Cold and Heatwave when they outright told him they were going to pull a heist? He's not being a very good superhero in that regard.
More flash [sp]Ok in this order the images in tunnel. An alternate Green Arrow, 90s Flash, Supergirl, Grodd, Jonah Hex, and a Legion ring. Jonah Hex looks like an actor that has been cast for an episode of TLOT. The Arrow looks dark skinned, might be Connor Hawke[/sp]

Huh, the actors who played Mayor Bellows, and Dr. McGee were were also in the 90s Flash TV series playing characters with the same names.
Though in that series Bellows was a cop.
I guess this combined with the Trickster and whats in the spoilers above really means 90s flash is a Parallel earth to this TV series :v:

It [U]is[/U] a multiverse, after all. Anything can be canon when you've got a multiverse. Also, anyone else catch the names on the phone in the house on Earth-2? I remember seeing "Hal", "Bruce", and "Diana" on there.
Also I really like how Earth-2 has a bit of a Retro-Futuristic Art Deco twist to it, reminds me of the old Batman cartoon.

Loved the not-so-subtle Fringe references in this episode. It's a shame the writers haven't learned how not to make a character act like a total fucking retard in a parallel universe by Fringe's mistakes.

If Barry isn't the Flash on E2 there's nothing to say that Bruce, Diana or Hal are any of their respective heroes, or that they're specifically that Bruce, Diana and Hal. If anything Alan Scott should be Green Lantern on E2.

Because if the "core is the same circumstances are different" paradigm they're using holds up, those guys are probably good people who simply aren't costumed.
