The awful adaptation side of it has nothing to do with 'sanitization' or anything like that. The original comic had him owning a bar and then going in what was a very unique adventure. We went from that to 'IT'S ANOTHER COP DRAMA' because that's the safest bet, so yeah. Also, this is the FOX network. The same one that gave more than one season to Gotham and Sleepy Hollow but then shot Another Human in the back of the head. I don't think 'uniqueness' is what they were looking for. (Criticizing AoS is still the 'zeitgeist', by the way, even though you'd think we'd have left that two seasons behind.)
Has rather a lot to do with it because they took the darkest character of the 'El/Shazam family and turned her into a cheerfully milquetoast whitebread flying version of Squirrel Girl that has about as much personality as a department store greeter robot. You were saying something about misadaptation?

Because if so, I don't think I've heard of that intrepetation of her, and there's been like a dozen or so reimaginings of her so it's hard to keep track.
Is Supergirl the same universe as Arrow? That would confirm Jor-El at least. [editline]31st January 2016[/editline] Also Rip Hunter references "men of steel and dark knights"
Yep...
Supergirl will stage a crossover with The Flash when Grant Gustin appears as the Scarlet Speedster on the upcoming March 28 episode of the CBS super series

Yep...
We already talked about this, few posts up. I'm almost certain that someone from the show confirmed that Supergirl is not in the same universe as Flash/Arrow. One current theory I've seen is that Supergirl is still another universe, Barry just crosses over.
For some reason episode 4 of Dc's Legends of tomrorrow is online..
For some reason episode 4 of Dc's Legends of tomrorrow is online..
Canada aired ot after th Superbowl last night
Canada aired ot after th Superbowl last night
Wait, what seriously? I though it only aired on Thursdays here.
Canada does whatever it wants.
I think episode 2 is some of the best shit they've put out so far. my favorite crossover of prison break and ant-man
wentworth miller really is the best part of the show tho that scene [sp]with his younger self[/sp] in ep 3 was a touching story
Heatwave and Captain Cold are the best parts of Legends of Tomorrow, consistently.
Today's flash[sp]i liked the transition to earth 2. You see Supergirl in there, as well as Green Arrow and I'm Assuming alternate flash and arrow. What were the other images?[/sp] [editline]9th February 2016[/editline] [sp]Apparently that Flash seen in the transition was the Flash from the 90s[/sp]
I kinda like Legends of Tomorrow so far, but at the same time I feel like it has a lot of problems, too. Like all the reasons for the team to not go back in time and fix their own mistakes seem really shaky. And why would Jax even agree to help Cold and Heatwave when they outright told him they were going to pull a heist? He's not being a very good superhero in that regard.
More flash [sp]Ok in this order the images in tunnel. An alternate Green Arrow, 90s Flash, Supergirl, Grodd, Jonah Hex, and a Legion ring. Jonah Hex looks like an actor that has been cast for an episode of TLOT. The Arrow looks dark skinned, might be Connor Hawke[/sp] [editline]10th February 2016[/editline] Huh, the actors who played Mayor Bellows, and Dr. McGee were were also in the 90s Flash TV series playing characters with the same names. Though in that series Bellows was a cop. I guess this combined with the Trickster and whats in the spoilers above really means 90s flash is a Parallel earth to this TV series :v:

Anything can be canon when you've got a multiverse. Also, anyone else catch the names on the phone in the house on Earth-2? I remember seeing "Hal", "Bruce", and "Diana" on there. Also I really like how Earth-2 has a bit of a Retro-Futuristic Art Deco twist to it, reminds me of the old Batman cartoon.
the fucking cliffhanger though
I read a theory that Zoom might be [sp]Jay from the future. He gets addicted to the valocity drug because he wants his speed force back and it currupts him. He steals Wells speed force stealing device sand goes back in time to steal his own speed to complete the time loop[/sp]
Loved the not-so-subtle Fringe references in this episode. It's a shame the writers haven't learned how not to make a character act like a total fucking retard in a parallel universe by Fringe's mistakes.

Arrow question [sp]i forget, did Ollie tell Felicity about his son in the new timeline[/sp]
Arrow question [sp]i forget, did Ollie tell Felicity about his son in the new timeline[/sp]
Of course not. That would be a sensible thing to do.
Arrow [sp]Well I doubt the funeral is for Ollie's kid[/sp]
Why did non-flash Barry Allen have Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern's phone numbers on speed dial?
If Barry isn't the Flash on E2 there's nothing to say that Bruce, Diana or Hal are any of their respective heroes, or that they're specifically that Bruce, Diana and Hal. If anything Alan Scott should be Green Lantern on E2. Also because Easter Eggs
I just caught up with Arrow. [sp]Merylin you son of a bitch for tenth time in all 4 seasons.[/sp]
Why did non-flash Barry Allen have Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern's phone numbers on speed dial?
Because if the "core is the same circumstances are different" paradigm they're using holds up, those guys are probably good people who simply aren't costumed. Also that E2 pretty much looks like B:TAS irl doesn't hurt either.

I'm really curious about what Zoom will do to Flash and who he is
