Legends of Tomorrow's writing is horrible, especially the characters. I don't know why I keep watching it.
Because of the prison break couple
I hope the DC live action universe gets canned completely until somebody who actually wants to do it justice comes along, because the current lineup is just some big Smallville-ish tween drama tbh. Arrow and the Flash are both fuckin' terrible, and I can only imagine that Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl are on the same level.
I agree they look smallville-ish, I think that's because of the late 90s/ early 2000s sets and shooting style, but I think the producers aren't giving the writers as many liberties as other shows. As we saw with Deadpool, giving the writers more freedom results in less formulaic repetitiveness. However, what I do like about shows like Flash are the over all plots and the mystery.

I saw that Supergirl clip of her fighting Astra. I dont think ive ever been exposed to such absolute special effects cancer in all my life. [editline]26th February 2016[/editline] The fact that it shamelessly rips off Man of Steel in the process is the icing on the cake.
How did it rip off Man of Steel? (I haven't seen the movie since release) [editline]26th February 2016[/editline] I've been watching Supergirl since episode 1, I don't think it is that bad. It has certainly gotten better.
Jump cuts, long zoom close up at x4 speed
that's called a homage
"right"
lol
I legitimately did not realize I was looking at two different clips until the fourt or fifth loop.
Yo [sp]Old Oliver[/sp] on Legends of Tomorrow was kinda fucking hilarious.

Saw 1 episode of Supergirl and for a second I thought: Supergirl works at Capcom? It looks pretty much like that 90s Dean Cain Superman show with better effects. Didn't appeal to me at all, also why can't LA be LA, I mean I understand why Vancouver has to be Star and Central City, but why does LA have to be National City? In the Marvel shows, they're just in the city they're in.

It has nothing to do with where it's filmed, and everything to do with the source material they're working with. :dog:
It's weird because DC seems to arbitrarily incorporate real cities. I was watching Young Justice and it threw me through a loop when the monster they were chasing was heading towards Philadelphia.
Yo [sp]Old Oliver[/sp] on Legends of Tomorrow was kinda fucking hilarious.
It was terrible, and they succeeded to bring his drama in the other show.

And as usual, it suffers from rushed scripts. on another topic, Winn has game now! What's the deal with Siobahn though?

I still think it's funny that The Flash has to blur his face so no one will recognise him, yet all Super Girl does is put glasses on and most people don't recognise her. Such an over done childish joke, but it still makes me laugh.
Potential Spoilers for Supergirl, re: Siobhan
But how will they spin that up? Wint @dril doing a Jimmy and not showing the full love cuz of Kara, and an accident drop of CHEMICAL X to make her evil? Or maybe shes an alien in hiding?

It was only for when he was talking to Iris when she didn't know(that means 90% of Season 1) and the only person who never stopped blurring his face out was The Reverse Flash with his spooky red eyes. [editline]2nd March 2016[/editline] Zoom just doesn't give a shit and has a full covering mask so no problems there. Also, Legends of Tomorrow was cool, but I still can't really see [sp]Slade's son being able to beat Oliver. If Slade couldn't do it in S2 finale, then why would his son be able to do it, especially after Oliver has gone through league of assassins' training from S3.[/sp]
Erm, sure, but you CANNOT deny some effects are kind of not so great...
except that wasn't the point of posting the gif at all
Something that bugs me about Supergirl is that [sp] Hank Henshaw isn't a cyborg [/sp]
So they establish that Indigo can put her hand through a phone and out a computer miles away, but when it's time to turn two launch keys simultaneously she suddenly becomes Mr Fantastic? As soon as soldier-man spoke of the keys I had pictured in my mind one of two things - using two cellphones as a portal to bridge the gap - becoming partially digital and splitting in half. The last thing I expected was a live-action Gumby. It's like they ran out of budget and that was their last thing to edit.
[sp]Why would he?[/sp]
He is in the comics.
Damn. Legends got real.
