That's it. I'm done I'm fucking done with this garbage. The ending, especially, was a huge FUCK YOU. The whole episode was subpar at best. [sp]Dhark suddenly becomes weak because "GIVE ME YOUR POWER PEOPLE OF EARTH", also both him and Oliver lose years of training and just decide to trade punches as dull as wrestling chest slaps, almost 16,000 nukes "vanish in mid air" apparently, the usual "felicity and her hope for light" bullshit speeches, last fight is straight out of the third Nolan Batman, fuckton of plot holes regarding a few things like why the fuck does the US for example suddenly have NO nuclear defense system at all, Malcom flip-flops AGAIN as if he had done nothing wrong ever, and worst of all, EXACTLY when you think Laurel is gonna pop up again, we actually get Felicity instead, having the last scene be a gigantic fuck you to anyone that hates her. Fucking EVERYONE left the team, except for that turd in heels.[/sp] On top of that, we never get to find out about whatever promise Laurel made Oliver keep. Right before she died what could be seen as the most set up death ever. This writer is absolute garbage. oh, and from arrow reddit:
Felicity did the sensible thing: Chuck the nukes back to Havenrock.
OH, almost forgot... No cliffhanger to actually get people pumped up. I mean, they didn't do it on the other seasons either, I think, but despite that, this is the worst ending they could had given us. Season 1 and I think season 2 aswell gives us the kind of ending that says "yeah shit's gonna go down on next season". Season 3 and 4 are the biggest feel good crap I've ever seen. One ends with Oliver happy which almost gave me a lobotomy from how bad it was in hindesight, and this one ends with a very "meh" and somewhat dead end kind of ending.
I don't really follow these series much, but why are the writers obsessed with pushing a character that 0 of the fans like?
Social media hits. Literally.
I don't really follow these series much, but why are the writers obsessed with pushing a character that 0 of the fans like?
The fans of the original source material, like comics, are the ones who hate it, because it doesn't fits the story whatsoever. Yes this isn't really following the comics, but still... The only people who actually like the character, are the kind of people who will literaly watch any kind of show if A: Has hot guys (you can see where this is going) B: Has too much high school level drama So basicaly, girls who are stuck in high school in their minds. Said kind of people give absolutely no fucks about the source material, and will combine a snake and a mongoose on the basis that "they look cute together", despite both probably wanting to tear each other apart. The worst part is that the actual fans of what the show is supposed to be, are even received with what is pretty much spit in the face. As if bad writting wasn't enough. They also forgot about Oliver's tatoo and whatever it had to do with the magic, but I guess they really needed the time in the show to tell people that Felicity is gonna stick around.
I like the new r/arrow sub. https://www.reddit.com/r/arrow
Yeah. I haven't watched consistently since before the mid-season finale, and I've only tuned back in for the [sp]Laurel's death[/sp] episode and the finale. Fuck Arrow. It's dead.
I'm glad I stopped watching felicity and friends mid-season. Thanks guys for the heads up.
I'm not crazy, right? Is the entire ending with[sp]everyone leaving and Felicity bluntly stating she'd never leave his side[/sp]just a big 'if you don't like her, tough shit' from the writers?
I think we can all agree this is the real series finale
[sp] That whole scene when Dhark and Oliver go head to head and then the skulls pop up to handle the civies in hand to hand even though they had guns [/sp] Wtf lol Made me think of it as[sp]a poor mans version of Captain Americas civil war confrontation [/sp]
I think we can all agree this is the real series finale
Wow, the CG on that fall is awful.
[sp]Everyone left the team except for Felcity?[/sp] what the fuck
[sp]I wish Jays costume was a brighter version of Hunter!Jays pulp as fuck costume and that he had the helmet beforehand. But still, that and actual Black Flash are hype as shit, I just hope this Flashpoint stuff is only a couple eps long so we can get back to Jay at the very least. Interesting that they pulled the switcheroo that they did with E2 and 3. But I wonder if that means Hourman travelled from E3 to meet the LoT crew[/sp]
Wow, the CG on that fall is awful.
I noticed as well lol
[sp]Everyone left the team except for Felcity?[/sp] what the fuck
I'd like to think that its sign of change, and the next season brings back everyone we love, including BC, and that theres so much fallout between Oliver and Felicity, that she somehow gets killed and the show actually turns good. But I just can't give a shit about it anymore. The finale was pure spitting garbage. I actually see BC's death as more of a message from the writer, than anything else now.
Yeah. I haven't watched consistently since before the mid-season finale, and I've only tuned back in for the [sp]Laurel's death[/sp] episode and the finale. Fuck Arrow. It's dead.
I thought they were going to do something questionable and brainwash earth 2 Laurel into being earth 1 Laurel.
I thought they were going to do something questionable and brainwash earth 2 Laurel into being earth 1 Laurel.
It honestly looks like they aren't gonna do anything about her, judging by the finale. And I could kinda see it coming, since they treated her as a mere "meta of the week" and then just waved her off as "she aint laurel", locked her up and threw away the key in their usual forgetful selves. Also, is it just me, or the show is so badly written that things are left untouched and open? There are so many plot holes. Laurel's promise was left to be revealed. Her death was also extremely fucking weird. The whole scene spelt "fake death", but then went nowhere. The tattoo thing on Oliver also was left untouched. Whats the deal with that? Dhark mentioned something about another place on Earth that wasn't affected by the blasts. Did he mean those hidden places, or some place else, like the island? Because it doesnt looks like he would survive the blast in the cave things. Of note, is also both the team and Dhark just going with the "he just doesnt cares if he dies anymore/i dont care i just want everything to burn", which implies he wouldn't live if he stayed where he was, so supposedly there was to be somewhere away from the blasts? Not only that, the flashbacks finale was uneventful as hell aswell. Underwhelming to say the least, and yet again, another promise that seems to go nowhere. It really feels like the show took a turn at a certain point, and ditched a shitload of plot points for this travesty.
So I went to London MCM ComicCon today and damn, so many Harley Quinns from Suicide Squad and whatnot, but also found some people dressed up as Green Arrows(from TV show that is) and Flash. One guy was Reverse Flash which was fucking great: [t]http://puu.sh/p833n/dce712d7c3.JPG[/t] This guy's suit was pretty dope, shame he had no mask though :D He was pretty happy when I talked about the suit to him [t]http://puu.sh/p834Z/1489149b1f.JPG[/t] dat shitty selfie tho [t]http://puu.sh/p8369/824f5fd011.JPG[/t] This one may look goofy but his suit is EXTREMELY close to the actual TV show, the guy was so happy when I talked to him about it! okay it's broken on FP for some reason but if you open pictures on separate tabs they flip properly wtf
What happened with Arrow? The finale?
What happened with Arrow? The finale?
It died during season 3 and the undead husk that was season 4 was a macabre example of what favouring vocal minority can do to a tv show.
What happened with Arrow? The finale?
Felicity fucked Havenrock. Havenrock is both a metaphor for the show, and the actual city of Havenrock, which she fucked. Hard.
I take it that continuing arrow is a no but how about Flash? I liked season 1 but I didn't watch any of season 2, mostly because I forgot about it. Same with Gotham liked season 1, didn't watch season 2
Season 2 of Flash is really good, but S1 finale is still better [editline]28th May 2016[/editline]

Same with Gotham liked season 1, didn't watch season 2
Season 2 of Gotham is both a mix of legitimately good, and intentionally stupid. I LOVE it for the campiness. Season 2 of Flash is good although it's not really anything 'new'. It introduces some pretty cool comic shit though.
Arrow subreddit has some interesting theories, that make more sense than the actual show does.
So what exactly happened to zoom on the last episode, like is that significant in the comic?
So what exactly happened to zoom on the last episode, like is that significant in the comic?
Pretty much got turned into [sp]the grim reaper of speedsters[/sp]
Kinda general DC news but with Injustice 2 rumors coming round, and Katie doing game related modelling for an unnamed project, I expect to see Black Canary in-game alongside an Arrow (or preferably a Black Siren) costume for her [t]http://i.imgur.com/7RtLCru.jpg[/t]
Yeah, she'd pretty much be a lock.
