I like to watch to see where the hell they're going with this subpar plot. I keep waiting for a surprise reveal of someone actually menacing instead of Rick Dragon, but all I get is a "fuck you" in every single episode made up of "maybe Black Siren can be goo-- HAHA GOTCHA, SHE'S STILL EVIL, NO CANARY FOR YOU PUSSYCAT, LONG LIVE FELICITY"
For the fans of Constantine, he will be returning as a series regular on Legends Season 4.
I guess the show is set up for a massive undertaking? The newbies are gone from the main team, who knows what could happen to Dinah *wink wink*, Diggle left aswell. Now all we need is Dragon to be the enemy Starling city so desperately needs, doublecross E2 Laurel so she finally stops being a fucking flip flopping baby, and kill the beast that is Felicity once and for all. Bonus if he takes the kid and somehow forces Oliver out of the mayor office. Funny thing how even the show is "self aware" saying Oliver's decisions to embrace his kid and becoming mayor were shitty ideas.
Anybody else feel like the season finale on LOT felt a little rushed? Apart from that though, the final fight was literally the silliest thing ever done in the Arrowverse, but it fit well. Also [sp]Helen of Troy[/sp] returning as a sword-fighting, gun-slinging amazon warrior was hot.
After that last episode of Flash, I'm both excited by the possibility of Thawne-as-Wells coming back but also terrified because I love E2-Wells more and I hope he ain't dying
Also sounds like they brought back Morena Baccarin to voice Thawne's Gideon
What der fuuuuu https://twitter.com/badpostitans/status/984057806738415618 https://twitter.com/badpostitans/status/983905701410963461
Yeeeeeah, as someone who's a-okay with the rest of the designs (Beast Boys design would be perfect if his skin was green and hopefully it will be)and casting so far, jesus Christ what the fuck is going on with Starfire. I really hope she's using some disguise tech but even then it's difficult to imagine her as Kori
How come they keep replacing all the redhead characters with black actors in both Marvel and DC films ? MJ, Reverse Flash, Heimdall, Electro, Starfire, all ginger characters in the comics, now played by black actors. Is someone in hollywood really pissed off at gingers or what
To be fair this is one scenario were she could have easily been both being alien and in early NTT(her comic debut) her features are pretty non-Caucasian But yeah it's a weird trend
Yeah, I'm pretty certain this is some sort of disguise. Here she is doing VFX mocap https://twitter.com/TheAnnaDiop/status/918528954801168384
Someone told me the fur jacket was just for between takes as it was cold.
Flashdance outfit is not helping at all, fur or no fur.
I need Prometheus's revolver.
To be fair, that was a hallucination.
I'm not sure how I feel about that last episode of Flash, but in a positive way. I'm glad at least I get to hear more of Neil Sandilands voice as the Thinker from now on
good fucking lord is Team Flash dumb as a fucking rock in this episode Ralph is such an idiot that he didn't even remember what Thinker can do, and Team Flash's idea of invading Thinker's lair as a whole is so dumb that I can't even put to words the sheer level of idiocy that built it in the first place. They didn't even atempt to think it through
How Arrow should really go - Oliver - "Hey Flash I got some guy giving me some trouble you wanna come in and grab him for me."
This isn’t the only TV series in history that has this problem.
yeah but its just so blatantly obvious that... the Thinker for example, would be able to unrestrain himself from ELECTRONIC shackles he would obviously leave a trap or a decoy where his lair is, with or without plans to counter invade, because who the hell would leave himself so lightly guarded and so easy to dispatch there would obviously be a reason why it would be SO EASY for team Flash to just walk into his lair And holy fuck. The Flash? How about the turtle instead? For the fastest man alive, that has enough speed to think things through probably faster than the Thinker, seeing how hes fast enough to go into some kind of stop slow mo state, he can't dodge or take care of a single fucking thing thrown at him. Like, holy fuck, all he can do is stare and gawk. Yeah ok its a show, but how fucking terrible can one be? One thing is shows like Dragon Ball where theres clearly a similar power level and outpacing someone for a sucker punch isn't gonna do squat, but jesus fucking christ you're the fastest man alive and you can't outspeed a regular guy?! And don't get me started on Oliver... I commend the whole "you've spread yourself thin" stuff Diggle gave him, because not only that, being the mayor is the most stupid thing they could have made him. And if Dragon is giving him so much trouble, why not fucking kill him once and for all, like you did with, hmmm let me guess... Dhark, who had ACTUALLY MENACING POWERS OTHER THAN BRIBE AND INTIMIDATION, or the huge ammount of people you've already killed because you pretty much got bored of doing the no kill walkthrough. Ask your fucking wifi to do it. She killed thousands of people with a click, something no one in the city will ever be able to do. Not even Ras with his fart plane.
It's the superman problem. They have too many abilities.
It's the shit writing problem because they can find ways around hjs broken powers. Comics have been doing it for 60 years.
Or just being plain stupid. Or "Morals"
On a more positive note, Diaz is pretty extreme. Wonder if Laurel's ever gonna flip. She made a few odd faces at it, with reason.
I have a feeling it will play out with Dragon killing Quentin or forcing Laurel to do it, or having Quentin sacrifice himself or something to drive Laurel fully over. Either way I think Quentin will die or get severely injured.
I quite enjoyed the recent episode of Arrow, which is funny cause he wasn't in it that much
The episode got worse when he showed up imo. Not unwatchable, or anything even close to that, it just wasn't interesting. At all. Probably also because Dragon is just a lot more interesting, and the actor is always good to watch.
6 years ago: Arrow is a serious grounded show that is gritty and realistic Now: Fucking magic giant teddy bear kung-fu fights a time-traveling demon in the old west. Yep, things got better all right.
Having read all of Hellblazer, I'm a little disappointed with it, for various reasons. The plot is based on All His Engines, and City of Demons is the name of an entirely different Hellblazer story that was pretty good. They rewrote Newcastle and removed the entire Newcastle crew from it, as well as amping up how stupid John is by summoning a demon just to deal with people instead of summoning a strong demon to deal with a weaker demon. The comic's version of Mictlantecuhtli is a blood-covered skeleton, rather than a dried out mummy. TL;DR I've got a bunch of little nitpicks, but, hey, at least we're getting somewhat decent Constantine stuff.
I just want Arrow to be about the Green Arrow and co. not about a superhero who is the equivalent of Bruce Wayne, except the thing he sucks at is actually being the superhero Seriously, "oh hey I'm married to a hot smart blond woman now and she loves me and I have found love, but wait theres more, I am also the president of my city, BUT WAIT I AM ALSO A SUPER HERO!" It's the equivalent of a hero made up by a kid who gives him no flaws, with the obvious glaring issue that he sucks at being a hero.
