I was really surprised that every characters was interesting and had something likeable about them. This is pretty rare with new shows imo. Also liked how [sp]Nancy and Jonathan DIDN'T hook up, and she actually stayed with the douchebag. I was expecting the classic and overused "good guy gets the girl in the end", though I am pretty sure it will happen the next season. [/sp]
that would have happened if [sp]steve didnt redeem himself by fighting the monster and saving john.[/sp]
Just finished up the last episode, after pacing myself so I wouldn't be finished the season in two days. Definitely one of the best shows I've seen in a while. Every time an episode ended, I couldn't wait to watch another. I agree with everyone saying the first half was more enjoyable though. The second half wasn't bad by any means, just that it started to show more and more of what's going on and the fun of guessing disappeared.
[sp]Fuck Steve. Nancy should've been with Jonathan at the end.[/sp]
[sp]Absolutely unacceptable.[/sp]

[sp] but Steve was an okay dude, why make it some wish fulfillment shit
Besides there's a big chance of it happening in later seasons anyway[/sp]

[sp]Because Jonathan is a cutie and Steve has a weird face[/sp]

because it's realistic. nobody is black and white, steve came good and they had an existing relationship. it makes a lot more sense. i don't need any of this 'good loner gets the girl' every time shit.
[sp]Steve's a good guy who was being badly influenced by his asshole friends and he realizes that by the end[/sp]
[sp]Because Jonathan is a cutie and Steve has a weird face[/sp]
[sp] they both have weird ass faces [/sp]
I'm so glad [sp]Steve survived, I spent the whole last episode worried that they'd kill him off, instead they gave him a full character arc. I think I probably went like "Steve really, really isn't a bad guy" like a billion times during the course of the show. Sure he's an asshole, but like, you can tell that he's at least a genuine guy even early on.[/sp]
from their social media, volume one of the soundtrack is coming this friday while volume two on the 19th
Soundtrack was bloody amazing. Loved the piece that was used in this scene especially.

Steve is indistinguishable from Andrew Garfield.
good show 10/10 has andrew garfield

He's like a mashup of andrew garfield and ben schwartz
I really like how they used lights in this series. Whoever decided to add the little metallic *tink* whenever the lights turned on deserves credit for making the world feel so animated and alive. Its a small think that is such a major part of this series.
[Sp] Also I liked the second half more then the first half. The first two episodes felt like every kid power trope and every "Breakfast Club" trope smothering a great manic mother story. Once they left this behind they did fuck up the pacing but I found everything so much more interesting[/sp]
He was an asshole with the camera incident, but when his friend turned out [sp]to be the bigger asshole, then you can't help but feel bad for him.[/sp]
He also realized how [sp]much of a dick he was. Is it implied that the bought the new camera and asked Nancy to give it to him? I loved his character arc towards the end, it was done really well.
Im also happy he wasn't killed off at the house.[/sp]
[sp]He actually did get killed off at the house in the original script, but the people working on the show liked the actor and how he played the part so much that they re-wrote stuff to make him less of a dick and have him survive the season.[/sp]

Yeah this is the first song played in the series actually, when Dustin picks up the pizza, got me hooked instantly

Apparently, my dad found out how there were a shit ton of articles written about this show's intro/logo.
I really liked the intro myself, but holy hell, I didn't think that many people were fond of it.

[sp]Thank goodness, really began to warm up to his character when he realized what a dick he was and how his friends were affecting him.[/sp]

At first I thought it was Marvel related bc of this

[sp]steve was kind of a dick with the camera thing but I mean the other guy was creeping about taking nudey pictures of his girlfriend(?), I can't really dislike him that much for overreacting[/sp]

[sp]if someone were doing that shit to me i would break a lot more than just their camera. that shit's just creepy, and i honestly see no reason why steve should apologize.[/sp]
Christ its like everything this show does its like hitting the right points. I just got done watching the first three episodes, and im literally speechless on how fucking suspenseful it is.
[sp]That fucking scene when the lights slowly light up "RUN" i literally had the chills from that[/sp]

[sp]Not to really get angry for him doing that, i mean he wasn't really doing it as a way to jerk off like some other stalker would do. Since he is pretty much socially awkward, he doesn't really get what he is doing is off putting or weird. I guess he just likes photography, because i didn't really get a creepy feel from it.[/sp]
ENDING SPOILERS
[sp]Just binged it in a day. So good. Eleven is like my favorite character ever, so glad they hinted she might still be out there.
Maybe it's just because I was bullied as a kid but the the first scene where she fucks over the bullies and he finally shoves him made me cheer and then had me sitting there with my heart pounding.[/sp]
[sp]So, the upside down world is supposed to look all sticky and musty and shit absolutely everywhere, right?[/sp]
If so, what the fuck would outer space look like?

[sp]sticky and musty and shit[/sp]
[sp]Fluid Space, probably[/sp]
[sp]the scene where they fish up "will's body" from the lake with the kids watching is probably the best scene I've ever witnessed. The music fits perfectly, the pacing, the hysterics of joyce with the police close behind, mike arriving home, everything[/sp]
I also think the actor playing Lucas played the scene [sp]behind the fire truck[/sp] very well
[sp]How the fuck did Hop survive the two government goons at the end? I thought he was a goner the moment he got into the backseat.[/sp]

[sp]I'd imagine that they made a deal with him to not talk about the incident or something like that[/sp]
