I thought the ending was pretty weird and out of character for Charlie but the episode was pretty good. The best part was when Mac and the rich guy trying to explain how they were wrestling.
I agree, what made Charlie different was that he was incredibly dumb but the only guy who genuinely had a good heart. You can't predict Charlie though
WILDCARD BITCHES
I really liked this episode. Not only did the waitress get a taste of what her life would be like without Charlie, Charlie finally showed to be just as much of an enormous self-centered asshole as the rest of the gang. I mean, after this, I probably won't feel so bad anymore when terrible shit happens to Charlie :v:
"Clown baby" that is all
I'm still mad at charlie for ruining his life but this is IASIP, the main characters are supposed to lose every time because they're all such terrible people

But Charlie has been nice until now.
Mac really packed on some mass.
I really loved that last episode a lot, oh god Charlie.
He actually pulled a [sp]Dennis![/sp] Brilliant.

The nicest of the group, sure, but you have selective memory if you can't remember any of the numerous occasions where he's been just as self-centered and heartless as the rest of the group.

Remember that episode where Charlie told everybody that he had cancer so he could get with the waitress because he saw that she sympathized with cancer victims because she had a livestrong bracelet?

I've always seen Charlie's actions as excusable because he's an idiot who doesn't know better, and therefor always felt more sympathetic to him when he fails than the other guys.
However this episode showed that Charlie can be just as much as a scheming psychopath asshole who can without any sympathy take advantage of someone else's feelings to get what he wants, which is a character development I think helps making you feel less sympathetic to him. I mean, this show is after all more about laughing at the protagonists than with them :v:

When Dee was singing Bad Company
oh damn
Tell me I'm good.
Watched episode 4, working on the newest one now.
Charlie...was unexpected. I have no idea how to feel about this.
I guess it's a small consolation that Charlie Day's actually married to the waitress, because that will never ever happen in this show. And I know that's the beauty of it, but it'd still be fun to watch it happen. Like that Jersey episode.

wat
Charlie has...
faked cancer.
pulled a gun on his landlord.
faked being a war hero for a chance with strippers.
directed a terrorist video.
stolen money to pay for hookers, but did not pay them anyway.
pretended to a prophet.
threatened to hurt someone for smoking.
That's in the FIRST TWO SEASONS.

oh my god frank i can't stop laughing
Where do you think Frank left his shoes? My guess is he and Charlie keep taking them off when they go dumpster diving so they don't get them dirty
overload those feelings Dennis
that dirty whoar
So I started watching this show recently
And I fucking love it and I laugh so hard it hurts where has this been all my life
on tv
The therapist episode from season 8 is great, this show is one of my favorite comedies
Pretty good episode, Dennis was really the star of this one.
Mac and Charlie are my favorite duo so I was excited when they [sp]worked together mid episode, but that joke wasn't that great[/sp].
Still, an amazing season.
It made me feel good that they brought back the penis

Dennis was hilarious in that one again.
